Service throughout the evening, both in the dining area and at the bar, was executed with professionalism and consistency. Staff demonstrated attentiveness without intrusion and maintained an efficient pace under what appeared to be a high volume of guests. Of particular note were the male bartenders, who managed their responsibilities with composure, precision, and a degree of confidence that instilled a sense of order and competence behind the bar.
The venue’s ambience is distinctly upbeat, driven in large part by the inclusion of live musical acts. The bands performing during my visit brought an enthusiastic and engaging presence to the room, contributing to a collective sense of enjoyment that permeated the evening. This musical component elevates the establishment above a standard dining or drinking venue, offering guests a more dynamic and immersive experience.
The overall atmosphere could best be described as positive, sociable, and well-managed. While the space leans towards a more lively and informal energy, it does so without descending into chaos or discomfort. The management appears to have struck a careful balance between entertainment and hospitality, ensuring that patrons are both welcomed and well accommodated.
In summary, Crazy Horse succeeds in delivering a well-structured and enjoyable evening. It is an environment suited to those seeking competent service, engaging entertainment, and a celebratory mood. I would recommend it to individuals or groups seeking an evening out in Ottawa with an emphasis on live music and a vibrant crowd.

Excellent western style pub/bar! Great food & friendly service! I had the Rib eye and it was perfect just a little on the expensive side. I went there with a friend on Wednesday night and we got there pretty late and after dinner they started pulling out a mechanical bull and a younger crowd started pulling in around 9PM! Really cool place! I will be going back for sure!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Memorable Family Feast at The Crazy Horse, Kanata
Last night, our family indulged in an unforgettable dining experience at The Crazy Horse Steakhouse & Saloon—a Texas-inspired gem in Kanata known for its live music and standout homemade burgers. The upscale rustic vibe is on par with the Keg but with a much cozier atmosphere and with dining options at far better price points. The easy going, country inspired music was at just the right volume, making conversation in our super-sized booth a truly enjoyable experience. We savoured three absolute show-stoppers: the Canadian Burger, the Cowboy Burger, and a supremely decadent mac and cheese. Our lovely server Lauryn was an absolute delight. Looking forward to returning soon!

Nothing special. Slightly more expensive than comparable restaurants.
Also, the water tasted extremely strange, like a combination of dirt and soap.

Crazy Horse: A True Taste of the West
For a genuine western steakhouse experience right here in Ottawa, Crazy Horse is the place to be. The atmosphere feels authentically western, making you feel right at home with its warm and inviting vibe.
And the steak? Well, it was cooked to perfection. Each bite simply melted in my mouth – a truly exceptional piece of meat expertly prepared. The sides were also delicious and plentiful. The portions are definitely generous, ensuring you leave feeling completely satisfied.
The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. I'll certainly be heading back to Crazy Horse for another fantastic meal, and if you're craving a top-quality steak in a great atmosphere, you should too.

The “manager” is rude and disrespectful, he feels like he owns the place and has bad attitude. I would not give my money to this place ever . Wednesday night let line stay out for a loong time no reason whatsoever.
Ordered the salmon, tasted good. The chef could use a bit more salt in the rice though. Live music was a nice surprise.

We dropped in for a relaxing steak lunch and have to say that the quality of the steak, sirloin in our case, relative to the price was good. Maggie was our server and she was very pleasant and friendly. Portion of all sides chosen was too much for our appetite but tasted good. The gentleman at the front was also very friendly. I would certainly drop by again.

Service was great. Prime Rib fatty and should have been with au jus and Yorkshire pudding for that price.
