I found the price for food to be high for what you get. They also didn’t have arugula at the time so the sandwiches were pretty plain. Seems like something you shouldn’t be able to run out of.

I go here all the time. Great food all made in house. Highly recommend for any time of day. Multiple locations and 2 food trucks. Highly recommend the rooftop patio on Princess Street in the summer for a nice lunch with a view.

Love this little spot! Awesome coffee and a delicious menu. Nice to grab a artisan sandwich and sit in the waterfront and enjoy the sunshine.
My first visit was amazing. Purchased a sandwich and a very nice size (large) ice cream sandwich. The ice cream sandwich was only $4.79.However. My most recent visit is another story. I was so impressed with the chocolate chip ice cream sandwich, I ordered one this visit. I was quite shocked and disappointed. They reduced the sandwich to a third of its size. Very minimal ice cream. The price was reduced $0.79. They explained to me that people complained it was too large so they made them smaller. Well, I'm complaining now. Will you make them bigger? Here is an idea, make both sizes.Bottom line, I suggest going to the opposite end of the block to Circle K and purchase a Klonike ice cream sandwich. They are a few cents cheap yet larger.

Highly recommend The Grocery Basket. Have had lunch on their rooftop patio, great sandwiches and view. Today picked up 2 gift baskets for Easter gifts, they were absolutely gorgeous filled with lovely goodies. Oh and they have great staff too.
