This is not an authentic Korean restaurant, they seem to cater much more towards a Japanese menu. You will not get any side dishes (banchan), korean drinks, or other typical Korean service items here. The restaurant operates more as a cafeteria/takeout style of service, where you don’t get attentive service and need to serve yourself at times. There seemed to only be one or two people working there, and we weren’t attended to for several minutes while waiting out front as nobody was there to greet us.
In terms of the food, I got a bibimbap and the rice came hard and cold. Egg was overcooked and appeared steamed with no runny yolk. The dish was served in a regular bowl as opposed to a dolsot stone bowl. It did come with the gochujang sauce which tasted nice, but the lackluster bibimbap was a disappointment.
If in the Kitchener/Waterloo area and looking for a Korean dining experience, my suggestion is to go to another Korean restaurant that serves a more authentic experience overall. Price range will be similar with more options at these places.

The portions here are HUGE!! I ordered the bibimbap and it was so fresh and filling and the atmosphere was so homey best hole in the wall I've discovered here feels like a secret spot to find... The service is great as well our cashier was so sweet!! Def something I'd come back to again if I'm in the area.🔥
