Amazing service and great baked goods!
Food is excellent, pastries are incredible but the coffee is just ok in my opinion. Service is friendly and quick.

Probably hands down one of my favourite cafe spots in the Windsor Essex area. Although it is very busy, and quite expensive, it’s worth every penny. Whatever you get is to die for. Staff in there are very nice and welcoming as well. Patio is a little dirty though when we went so we sat inside and still enjoyed our time. Highly recommend!

Really love their braided bread loaf.. can’t find it anywhere else:).
Always nice to visit Kava, they are always kind and the food and drinks are great! Yes it is a little bit pricey but you do get what you pay for, which is quality. Such a nice treat.

So far, this is one of the best cafe bakery in Windsor 💡 A decent bakery must have water fountain in their store — this one checks that box!
The shop gets really busy and the staff can’t always keep up. Also... why do I feel like everyone walks so slowly here? 🐢 Maybe they're just carb-dazed 🤭
🥀 Pistachio Rose Tea Pound Cake
Pretty in pink, but... tough as nails. The plastic spoon they gave me couldn't dig in at all — I had to cut it with a plastic knife. Mostly just dense cake inside. The frosting has rosewater and looks lovely, but it’s super hard and sweet. Gorgeous but meh in taste.
🍫 Chocolate Almond Croissant
Even after reheating, the bottom was still cold — can you believe it? The chocolate inside was firm, and there was a bit of almond paste. Flat and not flaky at all.
🌿 Zaatar Croissant
If you’re into Middle Eastern spices, this savory option might intrigue you. But the filling is a very dry powder. Unique, but not something I’d crave again.
🥪 Ham & Swiss Croissant
The ham is pretty salty, and even after warming it up, the cheese inside was still cold 😬
🧈 The lamination is definitely better than Costco’s, but for the price point, the quality and service don’t always match.
Hope they keep improving! 💭✨

good food and service. Workers should be continually wiping tables once people leave. Tables were dirty.

This is a gem of quality baked goods and fantastic sandwiches. If you want quality with wholesome ingredients this is the place. We are fortunate to have this 5 star cafe in LaSalle. The owners are great people that have their heart in the right place. Thank you keep up the great work. ❤️

It smells delicious when you walk in! All of the baked treats looked amazing. I tried the coffee cake which was a disappointment. At $7.95+ per slice it was too expensive. Coffee was expensive $3.75 and not very good. A refill was full price and no table service. I mentioned to the staff that for that price and self service that it was expensive, she was very friendly and validated me. For two coffee cake slices and two coffee it was almost $30.00. Pretty sure I won’t return, however if you’re loaded $$, it might be a great spot to meet for coffee and a snack!

Wonderful owner, great friendly staff, the BEST croissants, breads and pastries!!!!!! Makes me feel like I’m in Montreal or a European cafe at times. There is plenty of outdoor patio seating. The sandwiches and food are always so fresh! My favourite is the Lox Bagel and pain au chocolat/chocolatine. I always recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch
Nice spot! Busy, but not difficult to find a seat. We had coffee, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches on the patio. Service was nice, not overly welcoming or helpful. No shortage of items on display or food options. Everything was pretty good. I’d go back if we were in the area.
A lovely little spot in Malden Lasalle! The croissants were buttery and flaky, and the pastries were rich and perfectly made. The coffee was good and paired perfectly with the pastry.
Prices are on the higher end, but it shows in the quality of ingredients and presentation. The staff are friendly and happy to give recommendations, which adds to the experience. Best of all, they open early at 8 AM and offer quick, efficient service, perfect for a morning treat before heading to work.
I will definitely come back to try other pastries.
The croissants at Kava Café were out of this world! A wide selection of baked goodies that makes you want to try everything. A must visit when you’re in the area!
