I don't recommend. The space is dingy, the cocktails are stingy, they are one of those places that can't differentiate between 30ml and 10ml when making drinks. Food is a no for me. Two of my friends so far have been assaulted there in a homophobic and then a transphobic attack when I've visited. They do not have any level of safety or security. They think dra.g queens are child gr.oomers. The owners are homophobic and have made statements against the community in the media and specifically stated they are no longer a queer safe space and that they don't want or need us as patrons. And I think all allies and LGBTQ+ community members should respect their wishes and never go there again or give them another dollar. I'm sure they will do fine as a strip club and SWer hub. London's ince.ls will continue to be there to support them, like they are now.

Used to be Queer friendly, safe space for the drag & LGBTQIA2S communities until they put profits over lives.

For a “queer friendly” bar they aren’t very queer friendly. Lots of controversy and hateful words about the lgbtqia2+ community and drag. Terrible bar. Wouldn’t recommend.

The performative activism by this bar is disgusting. It should be a safe space for all queer people to go and perform drag. London needs a new queer bar sad this one's gone to the straights.

Sad that London no longer has a safe bar for queer people. Thanks for ruining that Lavish! Can't claim to be a queer friendly club when you actively participate in oppressing queer folks. Enjoy your just desserts.

Took my girls out dancing for a belated work Christmas party.. This place had great music and everyone was really friendly.

Used to be a patron before learning about how they treat drag performers and prey on LGBTQ folks for profit as cishet owners. London queers deserve better.

For a bar proclaiming to be a safe space for queer people, they have a hostile take on drag performers that perpetuates violence against the LGBTQ2S+ community. The rhetoric Lavish spews in defence of their claims feeds into horrific narratives about queer communities. Never supporting Lavish again. Don't be fooled-- this is a cishet owned establishment.

Lavish felt like a safe space for the queer community years ago, but due to recent comments by the owners/management about drag queens, I will no longer be supporting this establishment. Unacceptable behavior by a bar that marketed itself as LGBTQ friendly.

If you are queer or support the LGBT+ community DO NOT GO HERE. This used to be a colourful, welcoming, and safe queer space in London. There is new ownership, and it is no longer a queer friendly space. Screenshot of the new owners beliefs below.

Every time I come and try to give the place a chance, the DJ plays terrible music. The reason I want to come is to dance, but how can I do that when the DJ is playing a viral tik tok song mashed up with a terrible EDM beat. Staff is always very nice though.
