Located across from Victoria Park and Shopping it is a quaint little place close to the theatre district to grab a cocktail and a bite to eat. Cocktail specials are earlier in the day and they have an outdoor patio. The food isn't to bad but will try something different the next time. Staff were tentative to our needs and overly friendly.

Took my girlfriend here some time back for dinner. When we are first seated and given water, the glasses were extremely dirty. Not a speck or two; chunks of dried food in my cup. I’m disgusted. We get new water and our server was really nice about it, and we order our entree’s. I got the Mediterranean fish and it smelled bad as soon as our waitress set it down. I didn’t really clue in until I started eating it. It’s like it was frozen and thawed many times. Not 5 minutes afte

Honestly going to Symposium was the biggest mistake of my life. Once we were seated we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. Then we were informed that they were out of home fries which was upsetting. We ordered a few egg white omelettes and only one was egg white. The vegetables in the omelette were raw and not diced. Not only did we find a strand of hair in our food but the only compensation we received was a piece of cake. We expected the meal to be free but it was not. I will not being eating at any symposium location again.

Had an amazing brunch today at Symposium! The service was amazing. Jason, the general manager, was so personable and friendly, I can tell he really cares about the restaurant and he is dedicated to his work. Would definitely go back! $5 mimosas and eggs Benedict call my name ???
We had an Excellent birthday dinner for my wife. Jason the manager made sure all our entrees where served at the proper temperature and tastfulness. We have come to this location many times to enjoy the patio. But tonight we where impressed with the quality food and service.

The service was really good, but the dinner food was not. Worst poutine ever (no offence), and my friends didn’t like what they ordered either! But the dessert here is amazing and the drinks aren’t bad.

Superb environment and excellent staff. Jason was exceptional, moved our reservation, and was very helpful overall. He recommended a few fantastic bottles of red, and eas kind enough to bring over some cheesecake on the house.

My husband and I chose Symposium since it was a restaurant we had not tried yet! Everything was fantastic from start to finish! It was a Valentines menu which was a three course meal. I chose a maple chicken main course but my own fault was not noticing that it would be spicy, which I'm not a spicy fan! Jason an assistant manager came up to ask how our meal was, I mentioned to him that it was my fault but didn't notice the meal would be spicy. He took great care and replaced the meal with a custom pesto sauce with the chicken! It was so tasty! We will definitely return and look forward to coming back! Thank you for a great experience!

Love going to symposium, the food is amazing, and all the staff are so awesome and friendly.. They have great daily specials every week. High recommend Wednesday’s, the mussels were to die for, for such a great price. Made for a perfect appetizer.
