Wonderful food and excellent customer service
Second time bad service from the same person at the pizza counter. This time we ordered a pizza over the phone, pick up 5:30pm, so we would actually get a pizza this time. Was there 10 minutes early, and he said, it isn’t 5:30pm yet. Came back at 5:40pm, and he said, 6 minutes still. Arrived home, and the pizza was well done! Nobody could eat it. If my son didn’t like it so much, I wouldn’t go back. Over priced greasy pizza, that wasn’t edible. Next time I order one, I will open it there, and if not to our satisfaction, we will ask for a Manager! Same person, who recognized me, again did awful customer service!
Had the fish and chip special with my dad last night,
You see pics on the ads and know that's not what it's going to be,,, BUT! Not here! It's the damn same.
Dad ordered the single piece, I ordered double fish both with fries.
Let's start with the fries, just done perfectly and salted lightly,
Now the fish,, I'm British so this has always been a hard thing to critique, fish shops back home are hard to compete with,,, Well this one does, light batter huge chunk of fish and perfectly done👍👍👍
Keep up the awesome job I will be back soon
Excellent
Comissos always had the best food. Things made in house and the items on the shelves are great. Best in Niagara
Good service
The pizza and homemade soup was delicious Trish and Danny at the cafe went above and beyond. Thank you we will be back again for sure!
Fresh produce, looks like the emphasis is put on local produce as much as possible which I love. They have a nice assortment of specialty items. Always find what I am looking for.
Love shopping at Commisso’s however it’s out of my way. I’m curious as to why Commisso’s left Beamsville :( it’s a struggle every week to get Mortadella sliced thin! REALLY thin the way Mortadella is meant to be cut/eaten. Come back🙏🇮🇹♥️
I have yet to be able to try their catering services or event platters advertised because the two times I’ve called (over a year apart) their staff is hostile and unhelpful from the get go of the phone calls in numerous ways; including with tone and attitude when asking about price, turnaround time on orders etc. This started with the person directing my call from the number provided in the store flyer. Felt like I was irritating them. Instead of politely explaining their system I was just made to feel like I was dumb for not knowing the nuances of their store and processes. Seems to be disconnect across departments when ordering different types of trays and I didn’t feel I could trust what was going on. Disappointing. Perhaps try an online ordering form with pricing and instructions as they do not seem to be equipped to do this over the phone.

Great place
Has probably the best selection / variety of items of any grocery store around.
Overpriced...
Racist staff, rude arrogant.
Don’t go here if you are a person of Color
Everyone in the store is miserable.
Employees think you are a thief if you a Colored person be careful
It’s rare that I’d write a review for a grocery store, but this one is so well deserved! Out of a great selection of grocery stores in the Niagara area, this one stands out: they have a fair selection of European products, a nice cafe, a pizzeria and a whole lot of products made in store, from hearty soups to the whole meals. What truly impressed me was that their deli features much more than that of Loblaws - at much lower prices, and that their deli staff always know how to slice meats and cheeses etc and pack it so it doesn’t spoil. They literally do it every time, so attentively I am smitten. The store carries a nice selection of beer and wine - and their bakery is out of this world, literally. Always a joy to visit! Keep it up!
