The welcome and kind, attentive service was outstanding. The home made pita is excellent, some dishes came with delicious warm pita, we ordered more. The babaganoush has a wonderful smokey flavour and the muhammara is a must try. Main dishes were tawook and beef kebab - both were presented beautifully and the taste was remarkable. Good wine selection, tasty desserts and wide selection of teas and coffee available. Highly recommended.

May have never thought of a Middle Eastern place before but if you ever try one then let it me Fairouz! The food is amazing, like seriously SOOOO GOOD. Do not pass on the hummus and pita for the table. There is no bad options on the menu. If you want to try as much as yiur can, there are lots of options and I love to go with friends and get plates to share on the table. The staff all are just incredible and so friendly. As someone with nut allergies they were great about handling it and telling me what items I could get without nuts and which ones I had to avoid. It gives me such peace of mind to try new food when the staff cares this much!Already planning my next trip back!

We went to Fairuz yesterday with some friends. The waiter was very courteous during the whole dinner. However, the service, in general, was very slow, taking a long time to bring drinks, then the mezze, and main courses. The fries were not ready in time for the mezze and arrived after the main courses were served, which is when there was already a lot of doughy stuff to eat at the table, given that most of us took pide. Portions were smaller and prices have significantly increased since our last visit 2 years ago. This was a bit of a disappointment - to pay so much for so little food. We don't mind paying for more expensive food, but the quantity and quality should account for it - take Damas Restaurant in Montreal, for example.

Ate there last night with a group of friends. The server suggested we share some dips and that was a perfect starter. We had two kinds of hummus - one with pomegranate seeds which gave it a nice acidity; and one topped with a generous amount of shaved truffle. I could have lived off the truffle hummus alone, it was so good. The dips came with lovely small pita breads, puffed in the oven and lightly toasted. They were fresh, fragrant, and delicious. We all wanted our own mains. My friends mostly went with fattoush salad and a side of truffle fries, both of which they raved about.I had the olive shakshuka pide, a flatbread topped with olive tapendade, tomato sauce, cheese, and quail eggs. It was absolutely delicious and I inhaled it.We were fortunate to arrive before the happy hour (4-6) ended so our meals all had reduced prices. I picked up the cost of one of the dips, and with my main and a cocktail my bill came to around $45.00 before tip. Very reasonable in my opinion, and I will certainly return.

I’m so sad to write this bad review because I adored the old Fairouz on somerset. Unfortunately, its new incarnation in the market completely missed the mark. The food was still good though less refined than before but the service was so epically bad that it became a focal point of our evening. The service was exceedingly slow, and our server disappeared after taking our order leaving the poor bartender to try to cover way too many tables on his own. I cannot fault him - he did his best, but something was really off the night we visited and I’m not in a hurry to go back.

Very nice place but food was not the best. Most of the stuff were spicy and missing a bit of flavor. We had a set menu so we didn't have a chance to try other options. When we came to pay, the waitress just gave us the machine without showing us the bill. I had to ask her to see the bill 2 times before she gave it to me and it was in her hands. The bill included 19% gratitude, she didn't mention it and didnt want to show us so we can give another tip.

The food isn’t good.. and the waitress we got was not great. The space is nice. The food: we went for an event yesterday and we were a big group so we had a set menu - I think it was the “sofra menu”. The food was not good at all, unfortunately. And the portions left us all hungry.. The taboule and fatoush had no flavour and the majority of the food seemed to only have spicy spices, no other flavour. The chicken was dryThe kafta was over spicyThe lamb came out coldThe service: we had a few waiters and waitresses. The guys were nice. The space: nice decor

food was mediocre, it's overdone mediterranean food which half the time made the dish worse. extremely overpriced for what it is. other than the food, service and atmosphere were great.

SO delicious - if you've been thinking of it, just book it! We got the fattoush salad with fried halloumi, fried brussel sprouts, roz asfar, and the beef lahmajoun and pulled lamb pides - it just seemed to get better and better! There was a slight delay in getting our first drinks (they were busy, not surprised), but our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. I'm glad we sat where we did, it was so nice and cozy. We'd be back!

The food was pretty good! Love the Brussels sprouts dish, beef kebab, and halloumi.TLDR: Great food, very poor service.A couple of concerns to mention that would cause me not to return:We ordered fresh pita that never arrivedOur fattoush salad that we ordered without onion came with onion (it was replaced), and we were forgotten for the second half of our meal. We wanted to order a dessert and another round of drinks but our server Eric didn't return to the table to clear the plates after were were done our main dishes and then it was time to go. We had to flag him down to ask for the bill.

We were looking forward to it but ended up having by far one of the worst meals that we've ever had in our life. Terrible value for money, especially the fattoush salad halloumi and roz azfar plates. It legitimately tasted like food that you would expect from a low quality/cheap fast food restaurant.

We had a nice birthday dinner here, I booked a specific table ahead of time online (at cost). We did the family style tasting menu. It was a lot of food and even though I don't think it's my favorite cuisine the food was great. Though, we waited maybe 30 minutes after we sat down before the drink service. Apparently, our waiter left or got distracted, so someone else helped out. We also ordered halloumi extra and it never came.
