Food-The food was delicious with good potions. I got the Thai spring rolls and Pad Thai. Both were flavourful. The veggie pad Thai had nicely cooked vegetables with a good crunch. It came with lime, peanuts, and cilantro.Ambiance-The ambiance might throw some people off. I had called and made a reservation a few days before for 4 people at lunch time. When I arrived all of the chairs were on top of the tables and the floors were freshly mopped which was both reassuring but odd. I thought maybe they weren’t open yet. However, there was one person sitting at the bar with what looked like a takeout order. There were no staff in sight when I arrived. I waited a few mins and a server returned from the kitchen. She verified my reservation details and then she spoke to another staff who began to remove chairs from tables. I was able to pick where we sat which was really nice. The only other “negative” thing was that the floor cleaner they used was scented very strongly and where it was still wet when we arrived it was overpowering. It made it a bit challenging to eat without tasting and smelling the solution. However, i took most of my food to go, and enjoyed it later.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options

Food is excellent and plentifully portioned, and service is friendly, although lacking in some of the natural attentiveness that I would attribute to seasoned wait staff. The ordering process was a little awkward, as they do not have paper menus, so we were directed to look on our phones for the menu via a QR code on the table. This involved getting the wi-fi password from the server for both our phones, as their server is password protected and we do not have data plans. My phone is not the first thing I want to be looking at on date night with my wife.Nonetheless, we enjoyed our time at this small Thai restaurant and the people were very pleasant. The Veg fried spring rolls (2 per order) were fresh and crispy, but did not burn our mouths; the lemongrass soup with coconut milk (chicken) was flavourful and hearty with a little heat that I hadn't expected in the broth. The yellow curry was very filling, and I took home leftovers for lunch the next day!

Stumbled across this place. Looked clean & bit of change from usual pub/busy/loud options. Was great choice! Food was really well prepared and full of authentic flavour. Service was quick, friendly and attentive…all without us really noticing they were there. Price was very reasonable/affordable. I’ll be back for sure and be recommending to friends.

During Covid Lockdowns we placed a take out order for few things, when we came to pick it up it wasn’t ready. As we waited for our order in the shop their “young” chef with his winter jacket came storming in through the front door with his girlfriend looked super inconvenienced by the order,he had to do a double take with his unimpressed face before heading into the kitchen LOLWhen we got home we came to find out our papaya salad was MOSTLY TOMATOES.The impression we got from our experience; they’re inconvenienced, chef is inexperienced, don’t care for repeated customers.

Live in the area and have frequented Lemongrass for a few years but this place has taken a few steps back recently and is no longer worth the trip for a decent dinner. Service has become a negative: being sat at dirty tables or uneven tables with cardboard holding them up, the server eating at the counter while not taking customers orders for 20-30m, server not able to understand questions about menu changes or just not wanting to answer, serving pre-portioned items still in the plastic portion containers on top of a plate, rejecting customers 1.5h before closing, putting the chairs on tables an hour before closing with customers still waiting for their food, etc. It's always been a no frills type of restaurant (one of the previous servers wore sweat pants) and typically I would say that their food quality outweighs the poor service but today our food had raw/undercooked potato and the skin of an onion in it. Maybe they have new management or went through turnover of employees but this place is no longer worth going to, especially with other restaurants in the area willing to put some effort into your experience.

Phenomenal cooking and flavours. Perhaps the one asian joint in town which can respect a sea food allergy. Recommend the green curry although all the curries are great. Highly recommend!

Lemongrass has been my go-to in Ottawa for many years. The flavors are authentic whether dine-in or takeout, it tastes equally delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the service exceptional. A must-visit for anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine. Five stars well-deserved!

I have been searching for decent Thai food for several years and finally found this place to serve the most authentic style food yet. Even the soup was the best I'd tasted in some time. I will definitely be back.

Ordered seafood fried rice, salt and pepper shrimp and chicken satay. Fried rice and chicken was okay, not the best i’ve had but it’s edible. Do not order the salt and pepper shrimp, it is not salt and pepper shrimp at all, ours had a weird acidic taste to it that made it inedible and had to be thrown away. Not very happy about that as it costs 20$.

First time ordering here, and got the green curry with chicken. Food was delicious, good portion size and followed order instructions too.

Have ordered from here before and it’s normally good-ish. My meal tonight tasted like a ton of sugar was poured into the sauce…good thing I didn’t order dessert.
