Great food, great service, great place. I would describe this restaurant as a Greek diner. Dine in or take out. The diner itself is small with 6-8 tables, but clean a d welcoming. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The server was very friendly. I ordered a chicken souvlaki platter with a side of pita bread. Food prep time was moderate. Food presentation was good and the plate was full. The chicken was very flavourful and juicy. The accompanying salad, lemon herb potatoes and rice were also very flavourful. The pita bread was cooked just right and was seasoned with a special herb/spice blend. Food was priced well. Location is in downtown Ottawa near Bank St and was within walking distance of the Soho on Lisgar. Overall great experience. I would recommend trying this diner and I would definitely return to try other dishes.Parking: Street parking if you're lucky as there are many other restaurants and shops in the area.

Food was perfection. Well priced. They've redecorated since I was last there and it's now lighter and quite a bland atmosphere now, compared with the moody, cozy dark wood they used to have. Still, don't let that stop you from going. And grab a cookie on the way out.

Good food but very unprofessional stuff at the counter! I had a pick up order, because that I was early the lady who was at the cash gave me an unpleasant attitude for no reason.Hope they learn how to treat customers first!No more business from me

Greek Souvlaki Shack is exceptional! The Authentic Pork Souvlaki will absolutely satisfy those familiar with GOOD greek Gyros. The loukaniko, Tirokafteri, spanakopita, tiropita are awesome as well. As someone who just moved to Ottawa from Montreal, I thank my lucky stars that this place exists.
