BEST Pizza I've ever had!! This place is a must to check out. One of the staff was sharing with us that the dough is made fresh on the premises and you can smell and taste the freshness. The Chef is literally making your pizza fresh right in front of you as you wait and he's an award-winning chef too! Friendly staff and clean place!

I was passing through Parry Sound and saw this pizzeria and knew I had to stop. I’m so happy I did…. Not only did the owner greet me with kindness but shared his story of Maurizio’s and where the ingredients of his pizzas come from.Well I left with 2 pizzas and I came back the very next day to get another 2. If your in the area stop in and enjoy their pizza. Delicious pizza!!! Honestly the best pizza we have had in years. I enjoyed the Canadian which was top notch great sauce, meat, cheese, & nice thin crust. My husband got the Vampire Slayer & it was fabulous. I would definitely recommend treating yourself to their yummy pizza. I wish we were fortunate enough to have a pizza place like that out in the prairies.

Drove from barrie and decided to stop by. right away as we entered the owner was there going over the menu with my friend and I. we decided on a pizza and to eat on the heated patio, the owner turned on the heat for us and told us the pizza will be out shortly. once the pizza came, he brought to our table a beautiful crafted Italian stone baked pizza, the cook on it was perfect, the crust was fresh, the ingredients was quality. you could see the owner was proud to serve his food and for great reason. if you love a great pizza that’s proper and not garbage, then this is where you need to go. 5 stars for excellence and a properly ran business serving quality. One of the finest and flavorful pizza ever!!! Thin crust, rightly loaded with good quality toppings. Delicate blend of ingredients. The crust is not hard at all and do not need a dipping sauce to finish it! The pizza is loaded but light on the stomach. Great varieties (including vegan options) on the menu. Pizzas were soft and tasted very good even the next day (had some left overs). Definitely, worth every penny! It was an honor and gratifying experience to savor Chef's Maurizio's artwork curated from his centuries-old family recipe and passion! The complementary pistachio cannoli was yummy :) Definitely, a must try place if visiting Parry Sound.

This restaurant has amazing thin crust pizzas. We were a party of 8 people from out of town and they accommodated us by staying open a little later.! We very much appreciated this and the pizza was fresh and delicious. I have a cottage in the area and definitely plan on returning. Customer service was fantastic and they did not make us feel rushed at all. When in Parry Sound give it a try.

We enjoyed a Canadian pizza which was absolutely delicious. The crust was light and crispy and the sauce was sweet. We sat in the patio area which is closed in and heated. We will definitely return.

Delicious unique pizzas! Great Vegan and meat options! Amazing fresh ingredients! The Apple cheddar pizza was like no other. Very friendly staff and chef .. would love to have a sit down indoor restaurant not just the patio but the food makes up for it all! So good!

Finally got a chance to come back to eat here! I'm from Sudbury, and we were driving home from a girls weekend. Did not disappoint at all. I got the Angry Vegan pizza and it was amazing. Also love how there was a current promotion happening and there was no upcharge for the vegan cheese. Hopefully one day they can extend their hours and expand the restaurant.

In our travels we were craving some pizza (family of 6) we looked for a dine in restaurant and came across maurizios pizzeria for anyone going through perry sound this is a place you absolutely have to try!!! The staff and service is amazing and the pizza is beyond what words can describe!!! We are extremely happy we stopped along the way and encourage anyone who loves pizza to enjoy this pizzeria i can promise MAURIZIO'S WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!!!

7pm on a Thursday night we were hungry. Spotted the sign and decided to try pizza hereSous chef Christopher was so energetic and excited to tell us about the award winning pizza we bought two personal sized pizzas.Best decision we've made in a while.This pizza was terrific. Wonderful light crust, flavourful sauce, generous amount of portions and Christopher seemed SO proud we liked it.Highly recommend this pizza .

My wife and I tried Maurizios this evening and were very impressed. Christopher, the sous chef, was SO excited to explain the options and proud of all the awards the store has won. We bought two small personal pizzas and we both agreed it was amongst the best "Za" (pizza) we've had. We found the crust was light and tasty. The sauce was flavourful, and the amount of toppings generous. When Christopher handed us our orders, he opened the boxes to show us and was very proud of his cooking. We really liked the pride this employee showed and the ownership better look after him or another restaurant will scoop him up. We look forward to coming back the next time we're in Parry Sound. Note to all business owners: as consumers, most of us truly appreciate good service and take notice of employees who have pride in their product.

My family recently visited the restaurant for our favourite pizzas and tried the calzone which was also amazing. We love coming to Maurizio’s every trip to Parry Sound. The staff are super sweet and do everything to make the dining experience enjoyable. We sat in the heated dining space and were delighted with cannolis as a special surprise while we waited for our food.Maurizio himself checked in with us to see if everything was satisfactory. Definitely returned and tell all my friends to stop in.

Tonight I had the most disappointing encounter with Mauricio, himself. This review is of no reflection of the wonderful back staff that work at this establishment. I ordered 2 calzones and upon picking them up, I was told that they made pizzas instead of calzones and that they would make me fresh calzones and let me have the 2 pizzas at no cost for the inconvenience. I was impressed with this and grateful they offered this to me. I agreed to wait. Upon paying for my order, I was served by Mauricio. He started by telling me that “for the future” I needed to be more clear when I was ordering as their pizzas are the same name as their calzones. I clarified that I was aware of this and was very clear when I ordered. He then continued by charging me for my 2 calzones, handed them to me and neglected to include the 2 pizzas that were promised to me. I advised him that his staff member told me that I could have the two pizzas, he said this was incorrect and that they would never say that. I once again stated word for word, what I was told. He said this was not right and refused to give me the pizzas. After trying to bribe me with a cannoli, he offered me a single pepperoni pizza. I looked at this once back in my car and it was definitely one that had been sitting out for quite a while as it was very cold. Needless to say, I will not be returning here and will be telling this story to everyone I know locally. 2 pizzas cost maybe $10 to make, but now will cost Mauricio many customers. Mauricio needs to take some business advice from his employee as they handled the situation far better than he did.
