Very disappointing and not what they used to be. I believe they’re under new management or ownership. My boyfriend and I ordered online and everything we wanted to order from their menu they didn’t have on their new menu. We ordered a loaded poutine, quesadillas, fried pickles, jalapeño poppers and mozzarella sticks. We would’ve been better off just eating frozen food from the store or making it ourselves at home. We both liked Shannon’s but this is the last time we’ll be eating from there.

A great place to stop by when going on a road trip. The patio is dog friendly, and my dog was given a huge bowl of fresh water :)

I went there from Owen sound to Toronto. Loved food. Fresh crispy fries and good old-fashioned burger with toasted bun.I recommend sitting inside instead of patio, though.I was sitting outside because I had a dog, what a mistake.... this small town has a lot of truck traffic, gose by with car fumes every 2 min. Also, between our table and the other table, there is an ashtray. My lap got covered with black dust while I was sitting for the burger. Regardless of the food quality, it ruined my experience as I was expecting small quaint joints for good food in old small town.The service was good and friendly.

Of all 3 pub/taverns in Shelburne, Shannon's service is dead last; their fare on fairly decent.They're friendly enough to regulars – those who they know by name; those who only sporadically dine there are treated with a casual coldness particular to Shannon's staff.God knows how they have a 4.5 star Google rating...then, again, for the longest time, the bar for Shelburne's standards was set significantly low.

Came in and there was only one person at the bar and I thought to myself I should probably turn around. But I am so glad we didn't the food was amazing. Spinach dip toe for. Best fries I've had in years. Hubby lived his burger. Great service too.

Meh. That's the way to put it. Small menu of fried bar food. Interesting that they use pint glasses from breweries that they don't even have on tap. Menu consisted of the same ingredients just repurposed into other items (the chicken quesadillas and chicken club were pretty much the same fillings). The baguette was stale... such a simple thing to get right.

Typical fried menu... service was ok. Prices were reasonable, but the food could have been fresher. Sitting on the patio has the allure of being nice, but you're right next to traffic and it's noisy. Sit inside, maybe.
