The coffee is great but charging for sugar syrup is absurd.

There are two bakeries on this street, I decided to go to this one. It was an unfortunate choice. The ambience is nice, however I almost didn’t feel welcomed. The customer service was horrible. Asked for coffee, they said they shut the coffee machines an hour before close, I was dissapointed. The pastries were okay. I’ve had much much better. What actually disappointed me the most was the customer service, like I said, I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable as if they just wanted us to leave. Sucks! I won’t be coming back.

Top quality breads and pastries. The owners and staff are extremely nice. Became my go-to place for business coffee meets in Leaside as well as getting treats for the entire family. Very nice family owned business.

Their strawberry custard croissant is so fresh and the custard is so gentle and taste so genuinely fresh (rather than overly artificial with excessive vanilla taste)

Incredible pastries - first bite will leave you hooked to come back for more. My pain au chocolate was light, flaky and so buttery in the best of ways. Had to hold back on a 2nd one!Plus a great space to meet others and come for espresso-based coffee, a light lunch or treats to share for 2 to 20 people.

Not a big fan of their pastries, it is beautiful though and the staff is lovely.

This past christmas, we bought our advent calendars here, based on reviews from various sites describing it as fine belgian chocolate loaded with nuts and dried fruits.2-3 days, the chocolates had maybe a quarter teaspoon of freeze-dried fruit: 1 raspberry, 1 strawberry, and I'm guessing that I forgot one. A few more days had a quarter teaspoon of some some ground nut, not enough to actually identify the nut, just enough to add a slight crunch. The chocolate itself was fine, but they were also really thinly poured into a plastic mould with pretty boring shapes, and the design of the box is very bland. The staff were really reluctant to answer any questions about the calendar (like if the chocolates were like the ones in the display, which they definitely aren't). I guess I understand why now. They fall way short of the reviews, don't waste your money. Soma, Chocolate de Kat, Favoris, or Stubbe are much better for locally-made advent calendars.

Stopped by this lovely bakery and had a wonderful experience. The service was fantastic, especially from Mahshad, who made our visit extra special. We enjoyed delicious brioche and croissants, perfectly complemented by lattes and coffee. It was a delightful and satisfying light meal in a cozy setting. Highly recommended!

Have been coming here regularly, usually decent croissants (not always tasting fresh though) and good espresso. Drip coffee is mediocre at best. The bakery is already very expensive and prices have been going up for bread and pastries (so I already stopped buying bread from here). On the last visit I noticed that the prices have gone up again (over $6 now for an almond croissant) and prices are no longer displayed in the case, which felt like a bit of a coverup and is honestly just annoying that I'd have to ask the price of every item I'm thinking of buying. Many customers are not comfortable asking about prices and when I did, the girl assisting me didn't even know the cost. When cashing out, my receipt did not provide a breakdown of item costs, just the final amount. Also on repeat occasions I had to ask employees to change gloves because they sometimes would handle pastries, touch their face, use the cash register and then go back to the pastries case to assist the next customer. Wouldn't it be better and more environmentally friendly to use a pair of tongs?Used to like this place but won't be coming back.

It’s a nice cafe with good pastry and coffee. I found it a bit overpriced for what they offer.
