It was my first time having afternoon tea at Holts cafe and to my surprise, I really enjoyed it! This was their lunar new year themed afternoon tea and it was very well executed, and overall very filling. The service was great in my opinion as we were checked in on several times, and everyone was so friendly.

Had the wonderful lunar new year afternoon tea. The food was amazing and we had a nice table by the window. The service was attentive but not obtrusive, which is the ideal I look for. We had a great time and will be back!

I booked a Lunar New Year afternoon tea for a saturday afternoon. My boyfriend and I were excited as this was our first time going to this cafe and to eat delicious food! Our waiter was a friendly young man with closely shaved head and a neck tattoo. He was warm and welcoming, and we appreciated that he accommodated our requests (e.g. hot water, extra utensils) during our meal. He also checked in to make sure that we were enjoying our meal and to clear some items off the table. The afternoon tea set was beautiful to look and each item was delicious! Also, the tea that each of us chose (ginger lemon and Moroccan mint) were great. We were too full by the end, so we took the remaining desserts home. We had an enjoyable time and we talked about planning another day to visit to try their regular menu. If you are interested in trying an afternoon tea, this is the place to go to!

We had an experience we will never forget! Thank you to Holts Cafe and their High Tea for Lunar New Year! Cally McEwen

Had a lovely experience, enjoying the Chinese Lunar New Year Tea. ?The presentation was beautiful and the treats were tasty.Yes, it's expensive - but the ambiance was lovely.A friend finding with us had a beautiful eggwhite omlette.A couple of minor misses: Droopy flowers on our table. And they ran out of a certain tea.

I had the most delightful experience with the Lunar New Year-inspired afternoon tea. The fusion of traditional classics with Chinese flavors was well done—delicious, festive and fun. . Each bite was a celebration of exquisite taste and cultural creativity. East meets West.

Excellent presentation, obviously great for photos. For the price you pay, it's slightly below average. Matcha tiramisu was delicious, as with the cucumber sandwich.Choux was a bit soggy, and matcha scone seemed under baked. Macaron filling was tasty, but the shell was slightly hard/tough.Sesame ball was nice, har gow was okay.Pork bun had a fluffy bao, nice crispy skin.Service visits were pretty quick, although the servers were nice.$88.10 before tips and taxes.

Not bad and not great. Setting: Pretty decor, beautiful natural light, very comfortable seating. Note: If you have a booth let them coat check because it's tight with extra things. Beverages: good variety of beautiful teas, coffee, non alcohol, and a range of cocktails for all tastes. Service: Fine. Food: Very fresh, each element incredibly delicious. What's missed is the details: Hollandaise perfect but overpowers the best crab cake so you can't taste the copious amount of delicate crab. Martini so sweet hard to drink, better chosen alcohol would achieve same flavour less sugar. Something very hard in the drink that created an audible crack when bit. What was it? Fries very good but all toppings fell to bottom of dish instead of melting in. Orchids in vase, lifeless laying on table. Average coffee misses the mark on matching the setting of luxury boutique mecca.

We decided to try Holt's Cafe for their Lunar New Year High Tea since it was for a limited time and was pleasantly surprised on how good everything tasted. Our server was very nice but our experience could have been better. We were there for almost 3 hours and they were kind enough to let us be considering there was a 2 hr seating limit. First course was a dumpling and the 3 plates for 3 people was left on the table the whole time. Our waitress didnt clear out the dirty plates. She could be more attentive by coming by and asking if we needed anything more often than she did. The tasty food made up for the service.

Server and bus staff were simply amazing. Extremely attentive and welcoming. 5/5 The hostesses were the opposite. Rude, unpleasant and friendly is not a word in their vocabulary. 0/5 Food. Scrumptious. 5/5 Preservice team meeting was being held behind an open perforated screen. Could hear every word of them swearing and dropping fbombs so that everyone including my children could hear it. Not very professional. 0/5

The holts cafe was adorable! The staff were lovely and I loved the vibes. Shout out the the front hostess who was a great photographer. The food was just ok kinda dry and not the best flavor but not terrible. This is definitely more of a vibes place so I would still go back!

It was fine, but not fabulous. I was expecting a more elevated experience from the Holt Café. There were fibres in my tea cup and the chopsticks were takeout style wrapped in plastic. Fun menu but spreads were basic and one of the desserts tasted off so none of us finished it.

The quality and flavour of the food has declined since the last time we ate brunch there. The quantity if the scrambled with salmon (specifically the eggs) was very little. The french toast was also tiny almost like a side dish rather than a main course. It arrived a bit too toasted (looked almost black or very dark brown). Our server was exceptional. We had her the last time too and she was wonderful. Very personable and detail oriented. I think the kitchen can do better.

Everything was delicious. I had the Steak salad which is my favourite and my nephew had the fried chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries with a great aioli. Service, ambience and attention to detail did not disappoint. Definitely my go to for a weekend lunch.
