I think this has changed owners. Used to be a little greasy spoon with a varied menu. It was cheap and cheerful. Looks like a young family owns it now....nice people but menu wasn’t exciting....food was okay. It has a small area for kids and the restaurant was full of them. Old Kings Diner’s pricing was amazing...couldn’t figure out how they did it.....this one has much higher pricing ....not terribly expensive.....within local standards. After hearing the King's Diner was under new management, we had to give it a shot. We were so pleasantly surprised by the great service, kid friendly environment and the food was absolutely delicious. This place has potential to be a Kingston Road staple for years! Will definitely go back with more people, and bring the kids too!

The menu isn't a journal. Great double sided menu so you know the food is not only gonna be great. But fresh as well! The PEAMEAL bacon sandwich and the breakfast poutine are amazing! Great atmosphere!
