Busy spot with a bit of a wait if you go at peak times. Meat skewer portions are on the smaller side, most interesting dish to try is the sweet and sour pork. It’s not like the westernized version and is more sweet and crispy with larger pieces.
Most things are spicy but you can adjust spice level. There’s a 10% cash discount so pay with cash.

Service is so bad. They took our order and forgot to process it for 20 minutes. When we asked where is our order server didn’t even say sorry and she said she doesn’t know how long it will take.

Such a disappointment. We came to this restaurant with high expectations after seeing amazing reviews about the skewers. 20 mins after we placed the order nothing showed up but the drinks, new tables that came after us already had all their food. We asked the server about order she was confused and surprised that we already placed the order. It turns out the server we gave the order to never placed the order in the system. When the other server found out what happened she did not even bother to say sorry when we asked how long it is gonna take as we already waited for 20 mins she said she doesnt know depends on the order. I asked is it gonna take 1hr then she said not sure. We ended up cancelling the whole order and left so angrily. The entire time they left patio door wide open and it was so cold as if we were out in the patio. Never going back again what a shame. None of the servers or manager said sorry… thats not how you run a restaurant business.

- Grilled pineapple for dessert :) - It is a bit oily so good for a long sit down chat with friends type of vibe, it can get noisy inside. - Open til midnight. Been there 3x already, always a hit. 10% cash discount
I don’t recommend: - beef top sirloin not worth ordering even if the price at 8.99 for 10 pieces - preserved egg - garlic eggplant
Also our 10 pcs of sirloin skewers arrived cold
The decor is nice, might be good for a group gathering
Also note if it’s Friday or Saturday you are likely not able to get a table here, very busy and packed

Love this skewer bar. The food is very authentic tasting northern Chinese food. It can be a bit spicy for me (the lamb bone soup for example), but the flavours are so good. I recommend the lamb skewers and the egg, cabbage, and dough stir fry.

Highly recommend: squid tentacles, beef chuck, garlic scallops, pork intestines
