This is my go-to spot for authentic Italian takeout! The food is always fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. The pizzas are perfectly cooked, and their lasagna is simply amazing. Everything is packed with care, so it always arrives hot and delicious. The service is quick and efficient, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. If you’re craving high-quality Italian food, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend!
Great pizza! A previous reviewer mentioned they use parm? probably mistaken for pecorino romano which mine was TOPPED with. Pizza had a generous amount of Fior Di latte and basil. Will definitely order again.
This was mediocre and I think 2 stars is generous. They had an ok margarita pizza that had said it uses fior di late on it but it arrived and only had Parmesan which tasted horrible. The only thing that was good in the order was the pasta. They also had cancelled the tiramisu which I ordered and paid for and then they cancelled it due to not having any left.
I anticipated a difference in taste and quality compared to dining in a restaurant. Moreover, since it's a pasta dish, I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be even more disappointing than I thought. The noodles were all dried, and there was no sauce at all.
Small little hole in the wall on a side street. Best ever mushroom pasta! Need to eat this before your time is up. the Purple Kale Cesar fantastic and you MUST try the Brussels which are perfectly roasted and tossed in balsamic vinegar.
Really disappointing experience from this location. Ordered rigatoni al pomodoro which looked incredible but was bland and overcooked. This is definitely not the kind of pasta you get from Gusto101 downtown. Also, the flat iron steak was way overcooked ( see pic). When one orders a steak it should be cooked medium unless otherwise requested and should reflect the image on Uber. This was far from it. All in all a very disappointing experience from a brand we thought very highly of.

Making a reservation through Open Table to visit Gusto 101 was easy. The restaurant is in a great Downtown location, close to public transportation, and offers indoor and outdoor seating. I'm unsure of the exact seating capacity, but it felt spacious enough to comfortably accommodate over 50 people, ensuring ample space for everyone. This cozy restaurant is suitable for special occasions, casual dining and business meetings. The staff is friendly and attentive. I was promptly welcomed and escorted to my table. The food arrived shortly after placing the order. The menu has plenty of options to choose from without being overwhelming. The food was well prepared, fresh and flavourful. I got the bufala e bresaola pizza from the brunch menu, which had an excellent presentation. It was delicious, thin-crusted, not greasy and just the perfect size for one person. I sat outdoors for an early lunch and could enjoy my meal without hearing much noise from the street. Overall, the restaurant was clean. Even the washrooms smelled good. In conclusion, my experience at Gusto 101 left a positive impression. I recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy Italian food.
Unfortunately I can not give this restaurant more than a 2 star rating. My family and I were visiting Toronto this past July weekend and this Italian restaurant came up with good location and good reviews on google so we decided to go with it. When we arrived we were told only the patio was open as inside didn’t open until 5pm. It was 4:30pm so we asked the host again if we could just be seated and he said no. We walked around and came back then got seated in their lovely upstairs greenhouse type of area. The hostess upstairs told us guests have a maximum 1.5 hour sitting time limit. I have NEVER heard of such a thing? Rushing guests on purpose?? There are no physical menus only online and the menu is VERY limited. 4 pastas, 4 pizzas, 1 burger and a few salads for appetizers. We ordered a pizza to share and 3 out of the 4 pasta options (we were 3 people). We were happy about doing this as the pasta portion was quiet small. I will say food quality was excellent and the food was brought quickly. The dishes were delicious. Our server on the other hand is WHY this restaurant lost its star rating from me. She would come clean our table while we were still eating. When we expressed to her we felt rushed and we felt that this was quiet rude she said that she’s just “following management ruling”. We felt extremely rushed overall as we felt like the server was just waiting for us to leave. She also didn’t seem sorry or apologistick at all. Paying $150 for a meal you definitely shouldn’t be feeling rushed. Food was a solid 8/10 but service quiet AWFUL. Fix your service and we might be back. We considered ordering dessert at first but because of her behaviour we didn’t. Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to any tourist, maybe a girls night out or for drinks where service and food isn’t your priority.
Great Italian restaurant, and certainly popular, as it was pretty much packed by 6pm. Not a huge selection, but what they have runs the gamut of sauces. I had the mushroom past, with a cream sauce, which was brilliant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We sat on the top floor, which is exposed and it was rather hot up there. That would be the only negative. It's priced very reasonably for Toronto. Definitely a place to return to.

We were in Toronto visiting family and this night was to be with our nephew, his girlfriend and her parents. A party of 6, they recommended Gusto 101 and reserved us a table. It's in the Portland district of Toronto. Between Adelaide and King street near Bathurst, this old industrial area is a hive of restaurants and bars and the area is lively! Gusto 101 is in the middle of all of this. Parking underground one block away was easy and plentiful. We were greeted nicely at the front and directed to the upstairs outdoor patio. This place was great. It was a perfect night for a patio but this one had a retractable clear roof so that if it rained, you could still be 'outside'. Our server was terrific and very patient with us. We enjoyed Rose and Red wine, shared appetizers of grilled Octopus, Focaccia bread, grilled vegetables and more. We shared two pasta dishes and two pizza's and finished it off with Tiramisu and another dessert, and decaf latte's. great company, great food, great restaurant and a great neighbourhood...this was an experience I desire to repeat again in a return trip to Toronto
I had the margarita pizza, simple I know but it was great tasting and fresh! I'd definitely go back!
Order apply, pizza + dessert. Food was nothing short of stellar. Service was prompt and responsive. Atmosphere was automotive industrial. Would return!
Ordered off Uber eats, ive tasted frozen dinners that taste more authentic than this.
Ordered from Uber eats. Food was good but I requested utensils and ended up getting the food with no utensils! So I had to wait to get home and warm my food to eat while I was starving at work.
