Was killing time to check into our hotel and found this gem on Main in Ashland. The owner Gill was personable and knowledgeable on all thing wine. He even gave us a great recommendation for dinner that was fantastic. We ended buying 8 bottles of wine. Stop and see Gill. You won't be sorry

It's so nice to have a comfortable gathering place in Ashland, with great wine, friendly people, and beautiful art on the walls. (It's situated in the old Ashland Art Center.) Owners Gil & Shelby (and their staff) go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. There is a huge assortment of local wines to select from, or even some of their own (their red is quite good and one of my favorites!). Did 2 different wine flights of 3 on Wednesday 8/7 and enjoyed talking with Marie, the vintner (or pourer), who is very knowledgeable. They have a very nice selection of both reds and whites, including a viognier-gewurtztraminer blend ("Aromatique") and albarino and (for red) a lovely petite syrah-syrah-pinot noir blend (Stone River Amethyst) and a spicy and scintillating tempranillo (I bought bottles of all but the albarino).
