Very small place. Very good food.I would like to reply to the negative responses here. The person who owns this restaurant is not only the owner but also the cook, the waiter, the hostess, and the cleaner !!!! He can not find anyone to hire. So be nice and don't judge !!!!

I can't go to a new Thai place and not get the yellow curry. They didn't disappoint. It was fantastic. People were nice too.

Some of the best Thai food I have ever had and I have traveled to Thailand. Don’t miss this place. Friendly fast service and a chef that really cares. He customized my meal to keep all bell peppers out since I’m allergic. Large sharable portions.

The food was okay. Appreciate the vegan options on the menu. We didn't enjoy the mango sticky rice for dessert.

Best coconut milk soup in town, but no one EVER answers the phone. I don't live in Astoria, so I'm not going to drive all the way there to see if they are open. I have been calling every day for a week and all I get is a voicemail...no matter how many times in a row I redial. I'm so disappointed in the poor customer service. It hasn't always been this way. I guess they don't need the business.

The food was fine except not spicy when we asked for level 4 spice and served in tiny dishes that made it very hard to mix with rice. The atmosphere is cute but confusing because it was Cuban music and decor in a Thai restaurant. All of that would have been fine and not a big deal but I would give this place zero stars if I could because the service was abysmal. We ordered potstickers that never came and twice my boyfriend asked for a beer and was never given one but pretty sure we were charged for it because the final bill was more than the price of the food we ordered. We were the only people in the restaurant when we ordered and the server wrote our order down so not sure how he could forget. We also watched him screw up a takeout order—forgot to give them rice so they had to come back and the order of the table next to us—-gave the woman a dish with tofu when she had ordered chicken. They remade the dish for her and then he served it to another table. That third table ordered wine and they never received it. There were 6 customers total in the restaurant while we were eating so it was by no means busy. The server spent most of him time standing around or on his phone and has absolutely no business being in the restaurant industry. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had and I highly recommend steering clear of this restaurant.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Lost in the ocean was an amazing dish. Curry was very flavorful. Salmon was fried to perfection. I will skip garlic pepper beef in the future and stick to curry. Peanut sauce on the rockin rolls was also tasty Service- friendly, but not attentive

Ok I am a little salty about my trip to Curry and Coco. We stayed at the hotel across from it and we were starving. Reviews looked great so we thought why not we love curry. Think Again!!! This place was tiny inside so they had zero space for us but they did offer to sit us outside which we happily took. After that everything went down hill. Water, napkins, silverware ect were all brought out as well as menus but then we were forgotten. It took another 15-20 minutes for them to come out and take our order. We order our drinks and our food at the same time. I ordered two different things because I really wants Tom Kah Soup but knew it would not be enough so I also got yellow curry. We got our salad rolls about 20 minutes later which seemed like a lot of time for a salad roll. That is also when we got our drinks.. again that is a long time. The food came out 5 minutes later which sucked as we were still enjoying our salad rolls but it wasn't a huge deal as we were starving. Sadly they never brought me the Tom Kah Soup. Honestly they didn't even have it on our bill. When I went in to pay because 20 minutes after being done eating we still didn't have our bill I went inside. They seemed surprised that I came in and asked to pay. I asked them to remove the Tom Kah Soup as we never received it and the response was oh yeah.. I forgot to put that in. No apology or nothing. My yellow curry was suppose to be with out onions which it wasn't as well. When I went in to pay there weren't a ton of people in there so I was shocked by the continued lack of service. Overall the food was fine but the service was awful and put a horrible taste in my mouth.

Not sure where the people making all the recent reviews ate but I don't think it's where I ate. There was ONE guy doing all the work (serving, cooking, dishes and answering the phone.). Food tastes ok. Very small place. Front door left open so flies could just come in. 3 stars because the one guy was trying hard to keep up. Also after eating the phad thai I was up most of the night getting rid of the meal out the other end.

I enjoyed a yellow curry and Astoria stickers and I’ve been wanting to come back already! The yellow curry was incredible. We’ve eaten at plenty of Thai places all over the east coast and were excited to see how north west differed. They did not disappoint! There is limited seating inside but we got a table quickly. The service was great, I definitely recommend stopping in or getting an order to go.

How this restaurant got such good reviews is beyond me. The food was fine, however everything else about the place was bad:1. Service was slow. We had a party of six and they served one person at a time. So, if the person didn't want his food to get cold, he had to eat his meal right away. By the time one person finished, another person would finally be served. So, by the time the sixth person finally got his food the rest of us were already done.2. Staff was rude. It was like we were burdening them by wanting food at their restaurant. Gee, sorry we're patronizing your establishment!3. Portions were dinky. Although the food was fine, the portions were small. Way too small considering your price. What about those of us who'd like a decent sized meal?! I don't expect super-sized meals, but more than a side dish. C'mon, man!4. Prices were too steep. For the price, I'd expect a lot more food and better customer service. C'mon, man!5. Strange Cuban vibe. Cuban music and art adorned the wall. I'm a big fan of Cuban culture, but I'm at a Thai restaurant. Why the disconnect? In conclusion, ixnay on the urryCay &oCoCay.Vegetarian options: Some can be made vegan, which is helpful.
