Citizen Bar & Kitchen

We were passing through Bend for a few days last week and decided to try this place out. Boy oh boy did it exceed our expectation! We were greeted warmly by our host/waiter (and also our bartender it turns out) He recommended this cocktail made with light rum and fresh melon which he had bought fresh earlier at the local farmers' market. We came from out of town, and made reservations for a bachelorette party on Saturday night at 7 and had the best service! Rusty was our waiter/bartender and there was another waitress (didn’t catch her name but she was awesome!)- they were both so attentive and friendly. We had such a great time and the food was exactly what we needed!!! They made us feel right at home, we will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful evening. The staff was extremely professional. The meal was delicious and more then I expected. Many places to drink and eat in Bend. I recommend trying the citizen bar. They are not open late but let us dine past their closing window. Service without rush until we and the other tables were done. Thank you.
