Ordered sandwiches and fries. Sandwiches were made exactly as ordered, fries were hot and had generous portions. The decor was very simple and cute. Restroom was downstairs but spotless as was the restaurant. I'd be a regular customer if I lived in the area.

Food wasn’t anything special, got the job done, but most things were dry. Food order was wrong. This review is mostly to focus on the service.

The older gentleman who seated and served us was hands down the angriest person I have ever been served by. And it was obviously because of how me and my party looked, or how her perceived us to be, as he was not treating every table this way. It’s a small town, conservative, and I guess my husband and I looked queer enough to cause him some distress. He sat us and gave us approximately 3 minutes to read the menu, then when he decided we weren’t going fast enough he audibly huffed and flapped his notebook against his side. Not a word of pleasantry came out of this man’s mouth to us. He threw the plates on to the table, threw the condiments on to the table, literally anything this man could slam down, he did. Never in our lives have we felt we weee a burden, or imposing in a restaurant simply for going in.

We absolutely will not be stopping through again. We will either just make sure our needs are taken care of in Bend or Medford so we can explicitly skip this town entirely. It’s a shame, because the country around there is amazing.

The older gentlemen who served us seemed upset that we were there. I have a feeling that we didn’t fit in with their typical clientele. Food was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend stopping in unless you look like a local. Weird vibes.

The gentleman owner was a delight with a dry wit. The lady cook/chef owner serves up excellent food. We opted for a cheeseburger & oh my, like burgers back in the day...juicy & tasty. It was a wonderful surprise in the small town of Chemalt. We stopped for a lunch break on our trip & enjoyed the food & experience. If you pass through that way & they're open, worth the stop.

Parking: Parking right by the restaurant so no issues.

Great lunch spot! Was pleasantly surprised how great their “cheeseburger in paradise” was. Would definitely stop again when driving through.

Kid-friendliness: Great options for kids. My lil guy went with 1/2 grilled cheese and fries.

Wheelchair accessibility: Was able to access restaurant, but bathroom was not wheelchair accessible because located downstairs.
