The 7-11 on Monroe is my happy place. Not kidding when I say that I would get married here. Sometimes I go inside just for the vibes. Seriously though... this 7-11 is capable of solving all of your problems. Cold? Put your hands above the warm, rotating hot dogs. Hungry? Get a whole pickle and a pack of pop tarts (they have the best pop tarts in the world here). Thirsty? Buy some milk and a four loko and never look back. This neighborhood 7-11 store is ran by one of the nicest guys I've met . His name is Vic, and he loves talking to, and getting advice from the locals, for personal improvements to our local 7-11 store. He is here for us.
I had zero intentions of buying a thing, but rather, ran in to use the ATM. I needed to break a $20 and looked around for the cheapest thing I could buy. Bananas were 2/$1, so I grabbed one. "They're cheaper if you buy two", one of the clerks chimed in. "They're .79 each if you buy one. The peppermint cocoa is pretty great too. If you get one you can pick a free muffin."
