Raised in San Diego I wasn’t sure what I’d get at La Rockita in Corvallis Oregon. Reading the Trip Advisor reviews of the best Mexican food places in the area, I decided to eliminate Taco Vino and visit La Rockita due to SaintJames57 review, and I’m sure glad I did! I was looking forward to a clean and quick lunch but not lacking in flavor. Enter La Rockita which hit on all fronts but comes up a bit short on the overall authenticity of Mexican cuisine…BUT they surprised...
We drive by La Rockita every time we go to the nearby UPS Store. So this week when my wife asked what I wanted for lunch, and I suggested we try the Mexican place. We were very happy with our food choices. I had tacos and she had a huge burrito. Food was great and friendly service.
I've been going here since they opened and I've never had any complaints, it's been stellar. This was my daily lunch place when I worked in the plaza. The food is so good, and the staff has always been awesome.
