Delicious food, friendly service, lovely experience every time!

Service was great, house chips/salsa and drinks (margaritas) were amazing, but the main dishes were disappointing flavor wise. We were prepared to be wowed based upon reviews, however we were not.

LoooOOoved everything about this experience! Service is friendly and helpful, food and drinks were immaculate and delicious, not heavy, not greasy, just tasty and fresh. Easy to get in and out, and the atmosphere was so comfy, I literally forgot we weren’t at home for a second while we were eating! So relieved to find delicious, fresh, authentic, quality Mexican cuisine in our new city.

Only good Mexican restaurant I can find in this area! So glad to have one. Great service and amazing food every time. I love that the menu items change every once in awhile.

I'm from Houston, this is the most like the cuisine I know, the family and staff are wonderful. It's odd to me it's a date night kind of vibe, also sweet.

The food, the presentation of the food, and the service were very high quality and exceptional but the atmosphere was not particularly exceptional.

I ordered takeout here & had high expectations, unfortunately it wasn’t fulfilled.. The food was extremely bland , I arrived when I was told my food would be ready and when I opened the box it was soggy and cold. After reviewing the comments from the owner on here, it seems like a very unprofessional business & I won’t ever return:(

Small in size but big on flavors and heart! Delicious and thoughtfully crafted food. The drinks are refreshingly good too! Do sleep on the Frijol Soup if you are a bean lover. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and nicely portioned. A great casual yet nicer option than the average Mexican or Latin dining atmosphere. Extremely friendly and we'll paced service.

This place is a must try. Upscale Mexican restraunt with great care to never take short cuts. Everything is so fresh and cooked to perfection. Drinks are excellent too!

I had the Saz this time but the Birria last time both were incredible. My wife had enchiladas and then 3 different tacos all were excellent with a ton of meat in each taco. Highly highly recommend!

Didn’t enjoy much from our visit to Cocina 1960. Service was very slow and unfriendly. General disregarded to us as customers. Tacos were soso, without much pizazz or flavor. Wouldn’t recommend the Margaritas either. Strange colored bland flavored water, alcohol not included.
Would not recommend.
