Went to their soft opening for their new dinner menu at the new location and definitely enjoyed the food! I got the roasted brussel sprouts as an appetizer and my friend got the patatas. We both got chicken Parmesan. Very tasty and we had a sweet server. Looking forward to coming back here for their brunch since I hear it’s exceptional.
So these folks have been around for quite some time in a tiny little spot downtown on eighth and Park. They have since relocated, maybe only two weeks ago, to a lovely spot along sixth. I had a wonderful brunch, lots of new items on the menu. They have great biscuits, make sure you get it split and grilled to really warm it up and appreciate it. Like everybody else, prices seem to have gone up. My breakfast/brunch with coffee a biscuit and my entrée came out to about $36. The service was great and the atmosphere lovely. Pressed tin ceilings and rich wallpaper with a sense of spaciousness inside. They also are now starting to serve dinner and they have a full bar as well. Check them out!
I was excited to try this place from the hype but it was just okay. Food was not bad but under seasoned and very bland. I got the enchiladas and asked for no cotija cheese since I'm pregnant. The waitress said she'd have to check since it might be inside the enchilada so I gave her a plan b order just in case. She came out with the enchiladas and there was cotija cheese sprinkled all over. She offered to take it back but I just swapped with my husband. No biggie. The pulled pork hash was dry. The country fries had a really nice crunch, but just bland. The chicken fried steak was not crunchy and the gravy was just okay. Overall, I'm disappointed for how pricey this place is and service was okay. Best thing were the country fries.
Soft opening on 5th street location. Wonderful dinner service and they aim to please. Cute bar area, decor is beautiful and our food came out very timely. I enjoyed my chicken parm, so crispy too! I love that they're gluten free and can't wait to take my bestie here.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu
Best tempeh sandwich I've had! Was a super fun spot for a brunch day with my friend. They are a massive fan of the potato's here and I see why.
closed for the season...? no warnings still says open online. do not drive across town for a place that doesnt open. we were stoked to try & no reason faced closed doors & online saying it is open everyday for brunch.... disappointing.
I love Jazzy Ladies! I'm celiac and have a hard time finding fully gluten-free restaurants to dine at as well as places where I truly feel comfortable eating at. The food here is amazing. I love all of the options and I love that I don't feel restricted at all. It's definitely on the higher end of a brunch or breakfast price-wise, but I think it's worth it for the peace of mind :)
Great place for brunch. Sat outside and enjoyed. The wife had a hash dish that she loved. I had the crispy chicken salad that was great. Also a good screw driver Then saw that we were sitting right outside the realtor that we wanted to visit. Alternative Realtor. Karma I hope.
Can’t say enough about this place. Right next to the farmers market. We had the chicken and waffles. Some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Great service. Good coffee. All of the other food I saw being served looked awesome too. If you are in Eugene you MUST try this place. I will definitely go back.
If you are in the mood for breakfast that will fill you up I would recommend coming to Jazzy Ladies Cafe. It's a small little cafe in downtown Eugene, they have great service with a wide variety of choices on the menu. I had the chicken fried steak it was great and filled me up and my girlfriend had the breakfast enchiladas she loved that it was filling and tasted great. We also ordered a Mexican Coffee which was creamy and perfect for the morning, they use Global Delights Coffee which is an organic coffee, craft roasted in Eugene Oregon.
Stop in while working in Eugene. The place has some of the best food. I settled on Patatas Bravos and they were absolutely delicious.
Had a great brunch here with very tasty food and friendly and attentive service. The corn beef hash was especially good.
We had a good experience. Our server was very kind and funny. The menu was diverse. The best thing was our coffee 100% and definitely an added bonus was tables outside to dine at. The outside seating definitely could be better, but I was glad it was an option. I would say that it felt like the food was overpriced for the portion size. Glad we went, but likely won't be back for a long time unless just getting coffee. Parking was street parking and as it takes awhile to get your food, watch the time to add more to the meter so you don't get a parking ticket.
This place is always crazy and people talk it up a lot, so it had been on my list to-trys for awhile! Definitely would say if you're going to be crazy and go on a Saturday, you need a reservation. The inside has 4 very small tables and a bar, but they do have a good bit of outdoor seating. Definitely think it is smart of them to be moving soon! As for the food, I found it to be alright. I got the chilaquiles rojos which was pretty good, but I wished it had a little more flavor to it. My partner got the biscuits and gravy with a side of potatoes, which were also kind of flavorless and the gravy was cold. I also felt like their portions were on the smaller side. Additionally, the waitstaff was very forgetful and didn't check in very often unfortunately. I would say it's pretty fairly priced though, not an expensive breakfast!
Stopped by one morning on a trip to Eugene and it was delicious! On top of that the staff were super nice and knowledgeable of ingredients so allergy ppl are safe. =) This is a small cafe where everything is gluten free and a ton of things have dairy free options. There is a small menu of dairy free waffles that made my morning to get. The light and crispy waffle with strawberries and blueberries was perfect. I also got a side of bacon and over easy eggs that were cooked perfectly. There was a bit of a mix-up and when I got my food and I accidently got a waffle with dairy whipped cream but the wait staff noticed before setting it down and got a fresh one with a vegan whipped cream for me. The timing of it worked out really well for me because I got to enjoy the eggs and bacon and then finish with the sweet waffle. This place will definitely be on my list to visit when I come back to explore Eugene.
