The chicken and waffles were delicious and they use real syrup. The hot chocolate wasn't very sweet or chocolatey. The service was pretty slow even though they weren't busy when we went.

What a wonderful surprise in Eugene. Across from the Graduate Hotel, the unassuming exterior is the opposite of coming inside. Jazzy Ladies is a fantastic place, done up to look like a 20s Jazz Bar/speak easy. It promises what looks to be a great nighttime experience with a full bar and live music, we only had the chance to try it for breakfast. Worry not for the breakfast was sensational. By far what took me by surprise was their take on chicken fried steak and eggs. Strips of tender beef breaded in the most flaky crust and the best house made biscuits I've had in a long while, covered in a classic sausage gravy. It was truly worth trying. Their service was great and they staff the place for the crowd, it stayed busy and clearly for a good reason.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options abound

I don’t care if you don’t like chicken and waffles but I am almost 100% positive there chicken and waffles will change your mind! They are so good and the best. I went back there the day after to get the chicken and waffles one more time because I was traveling through Eugene.

Today, in celebration of my wife's and my 15th wedding anniversary, I drove over an hour and paid $105 (for a party of four)................. for one of the worst meals I have eaten in years.I want to preface this with the fact that we have been eating at Jazzy Ladies for YEARS. We loved them at their old location where everything was hot and fresh, and the service was amazing. We would go so often that the staff started to recognize us. I'd pay double what I paid today for that again. So it was no surprise when my wife and I had the same great idea to go to Jazzy Ladies for our anniversary.I gave this review a rating of a one star... though I would have given it a zero if that had been an option. I hate doing this to a dedicated gluten free restaurant as we have so few, but I can't lie... today was bad. Also, I write this review as someone who spent 20+ years working in customer service, more than half of which was in the food industry. I know what it takes to run a kitchen, and I know what quality is... and this was NOT it.A bit about our experience today-We arrived at the door less than 10 minutes before our reservation time of noon. I try not to show up too early, but I also don't want to show up right at the minute of my reservation. It's not fair to the host(ess) if you show up and don't check in so they know to start getting things ready for you/to place you at the top of the waitlist. I received such a horrible attitude from the host that checked us in, until I told him that we knew we were early and I was simply checking in. This is obviously a sign that he gets abused regularly by customers and his management doesn't back him up/support him. This should be rectified IMMEDIATELY. Support your staff and don't let customers treat them badly.Another thing of note is there appears to only be TWO single person restrooms for the entire restaurant that seats (I would estimate) a couple hundred or more people. A line ended up growing so long with people waiting that you would have thought you were at a sports arena. This is obviously poor design in the build when they put the restaurant together. We were seated pretty close to our reservation time... which was nice. Our server came by to take our order... nothing necessarily wrong, it was just simply matter of fact. No frills, no real interaction, just someone taking our order. Since this is a 100% gluten free establishment I'm not overly worried because I don't have to hope that the server understands celiac enough that no one in my party will get sick. Our food showed up to our table relatively quick. The presentation was ok, maybe not what I would expect with the style the place portrays, but ok all the same. My family and I began to dig in...My daughter ordered two eggs (scrambled), a side of bacon, and a side of fruit. Even a cook at Shari's would call her eggs over cooked. Definitely not worth the $5 ($2.50/each) we were charged. We paid $5.50 for the "side of bacon" which was really just two pieces of regular bacon. Hardly what one would call a "side" or value anywhere near $5.50. The fruit was probably the only thing decent about her dish.My mother ordered the churro waffle priced at $12.50. I'm pretty sure when the cook placed this on her plate it had to have clinked. This thing was so HARD and dripping in OIL (from being deep fried) that it was practically inedible. The only reason it wasn't sent back is my mother is way to polite to do that... she just decides to go without instead. Looking at this waffle I could only guess (it is simply a guess) that it was probably made up in advance, frozen, and then deep fried to try to bring it back to life without it becoming mush. This thing was also dripping in so much oil, what she did eat left her nauseous to such an extent medication was needed.

Waited a whole hour for our food without warning, and the waitress only checked in on us once, and that was only after we flagged her down. I got the country fried steak, and the quality was absolutely not worth the wait. The breading was dry and fell off the steak, and my egg was cold. Not to mention, the portion size of the meal made me feel like I was eating a kid's meal. The waitress did end up giving us a discount for the wait, but the very clear lack of care and awareness of people's time ensures that I am not coming back.

This entire establishment is celiac safe gluten-free! I came here for brunch, and was very happy to find out that I could eat anything on the menu! It had been so long since I was able to eat, pancakes, and things of the sort, which usually contain gluten. I had the mochi pancakes which were divine. I also had a couple of their biscuits with butter and strawberry jam, and they were so delicious! Lastly, I had a simple build your own breakfast, which was decent. I’m excited to go back in the future to try more of their gluten-free creations! I would like to mention that their chicken fried steak isn’t made with the traditional cube steak or hamburger steak. it’s made with a cut of steak that they lightly pound out. The flavors were great but unfortunately the breading just does not adhere to the steak and as soon as you cut the first bite, all breading falls off of the steak. I wasn’t very happy with that and the waitress was super kind and instantly accommodated getting me something else which I really appreciate so although I am giving this place five stars I wouldn’t recommend that dish for that reason.Dietary restrictions: Celiac safe gluten-free establishment

Wow! What a gem! Dedicated gluten free kitchen?! You wouldn't even know, it's all outstanding and delicious. Vegan whipping cream for the coffee drinks was a step above. Such a haven for people with dietary restrictions. Josie was an outstanding server who went above and beyond even on a busy day.

Stopped in on a Thursday for a late brunch treat. I’ve been wanting to come here for several months now and glad I finally made it in!The Honey Bear Latte was very nice. A bit on the sweeter side and I got more of the honey flavor as I got to the bottom. I subbed for oatmilk for an added charge, which I’m use to since I sub for oat all the time. The Polenta Mojo Benedict was delicious. I completely missed the note that the polenta was going to be the base of the Benedict and thought it was going to be an added layer, which turned out to be very pleasant. I anticipated it to be spicy due to the smoked jalapeño incorporation, but only one of my many bites did I actually find it to be slightly spicy. The pork added a nice saltiness that helped to round out the dish. The star was definitely the eggs though! They were very creamy and the ooze factor was very much apparent! My only gripe is that I didn’t have an additional item to help soak the egg yolk off my plate. The salad had a vinaigrette and was pleasant enough and actually helped my egg yolk “dilemma”.I will definitely return and will make sure to tell all my coworkers about this establishment.Vegetarian options: Also has clearly labeled vegan options
