I have been going to Prince Puckler's for literal decades. This visit we came here after dinner across the street at Agate Alley. It has the feel of being your *local* ice cream store (and if I lived in Eugene it would definitely be mine!) There is almost always a line out the door and I'm not sure they have grown the space since the beginning (although they certainly could if they wanted to). I had one of their coffee varieties (of which they had a few) and had the Friday special which in this case meant ice cream, banana, hot fudge and nuts for $5. My companions were big fans of the peppermint, which also looked delicious, but I wasn't sure how mint and banana would go. Everyone left happy. Didn't take more pictures because we were too busy eating out ice cream!

Ahhh, Prince Puckler’s. I hadn’t been here in twenty years, and fondly remember coming as a kid when we lived in the neighborhood.I was so glad to see it’s still pretty much the same, and some of the original classics are still on the menu unchanged.Support local, support home made, support delicious.

nice place! i like that they have certain "favorite" flavors with pictures, nice touch! two samples MAX (good rule). i think they have a wide array of unique and classic flavors. reasonable pricing as well.

My kids and I are trying ice cream from different places around Oregon. We came down from Salem and it was easy to find using the gps. The shop is a little small so maybe around 10 people can go in at a time to be at the counter and not in the dining area. So there was a little line to get in but it moved very quickly. The gentleman that helped us was very kind and even asked if I wanted a mini double scoop as the scoops are rather large and it was for a 12 year old. I’m glad he did ask because the mini was more than my son could finish.Now the yummy part. My daughter got a milkshake (raspberry cheesecake) and it was the perfect consistency and the flavor was good. Another daughter got a waffle cone with a scoop of raspberry truffle we much was rather large and tasty. My son got a mini double scoop of mint Oreo and mint chocolate chip. There were lots of chunks of Oreos. I got a scoop of the cookie jar in a bowl. The flavor was good and there were lots of chunks of goodies.This place is well worth the drive and wait. We will be back again for sure.
The best little ice cream shop we've ever been to!! The women and guy in there were amazing and super sweet! And man the ice cream was good! Will definitely go back if we pass by the area again someday. Super good and definitely reccomend!

It's a great basic ice cream shop. But you can understand why president obama liked it. I definitely recommend the eggnog flavor ice cream for the holidays.
