Pros:1. Nice atmosphere2. Friendly serviceCons:1. Slow service. We waited 20 minutes for three rolls of sushi rolls.2. Mediocre foods. We ordered the flaming lion and SOS, but both were not up to their standards. The rice were mushy, scallops were burnt, and crabs were tasteless. Both were $17 each, which are expensive for the quality. In addition, shirmp tempura and house special roll were not good either. The house special roll looks like California roll for $13. Come on!3. High cost for mediocre quality.

Came for dinner on a Friday night around 7. Busy sushi spot with parking near by, good customer service from our server. Tempura was great, the sushi was ok could be better. We ordered an array of rolls raw and cooked. There was a lag in time when order was placed and served. For the prices we paid I am used to eating at delicious spots like Bamboo and Blue Fin in Portland. We will try other places in Eugene for Sushi. Our Experience was mediocre, but I would recommend you try it out for yourself.

I love the atmosphere. Decent little selection of vegetarian rolls with some good variety here! The options may also be vegan, but I haven't verified if there are any hidden ingredients.Vegetarian options: A full set of four vegetarian rolls here, rather than just the basic, boring avocado or cucumber roll.

We came in because our go to conveyor belt spot was closed and were surprised to find this sushi joint no longer does conveyor belt style sushi. We stayed and ate, everything was SO good. I ordered something I normally wouldn't as did my son and needless to say we had no leftovers. The heartattack was SOOOOOO yummy, as was the shrimp tempura and Miso soup, salad and every roll we tried. Fresh and unique, great service and worth the accidental visit we made!

Of all the sushi spots around Eugene, this is the only one that consistently meets and exceeds expectations. The owners are so sweet and kind. Their dishes are always right on. Customer service is always super friendly and helpful. We frequent this spot fairly often simply because they're the only ones who get it right, every single time without missing a beat. Will always recommend. And will always be back soon!

We had to sit down and wait for over an hour before our food got to us. We were offered no drink menu and we had to slurp soy sauce as we waited. In a way you feel bad because clearly they were unstaffed but this was unacceptable. Maybe this could be understandable if it was packed, but the place was empty. We were starving so the food was good. Anything in that moment after an hour of waiting any food would be great. The toilet never recovered.

Delicious sushi, service could be better. They weren’t very busy but our server forgot about us…
It really is hard to find good sushi for a reasonable price in Eugene and I still have yet to find it after trying this place for the first time. I would have given 3 stars but what really bothered me was when I called to order I asked if when their menu said "crab" vs "krab" if that meant that "crab" was made with real crab versus the imitation stuff. They said yes and confirmed that what I was ordering was real crab. After waiting an hour to pick up our order we were disappointed to see that two of the 4 rolls were filled with imitation crab. The flavors of the other rolls were ok, but underwhelming. For $65 we were let down and won't be back. Also for almost $5 we received barely any edamame in our order.

Avoid if you like real Japanese food. The poke was just a few pieces of sashimi swimming in a thick syrupy soy based sauce. There were lots of chopped up onions and other fillers. If you've ever had poke in Hawaii, you'd hate this version of it. The hamachi roll had wafer thin hamachi (rendering it tasteless), on top of very loosely rolled rice and whatever was in the inside. It was so loose that the whole thing would fall apart when I tried to pick it up with my chopsticks. The tempura was fried in obviously overused oil. It came out with that brown old oil look. Our kids' bento boxes were nothing special. The gyoza were deep fried and totally tasteless. My kids wouldn't eat them after a bite. Oh and service was horrible because they didn't have enough staff. My wife had to go and grab our own utensils after the waiter brought out the food. The server hadn't bothered to make sure we had proper service sets. When we asked for our water to be refilled the server deposited a carafe of ice water because she was just too busy to actually serve us. This was a totally disappointing experience.

First time customer. The food was super delicious. We ordered the avocado salad and tofu hot plate. Everything was delicious. Service was great! We will be returning.

Best Sushi I’ve had in a while. Get the flaming lion roll. This is a perfect date night place!

Toro nigiri was prime, and not terribly expensive either. Everything else I got was nothing worth writing home about. The yakitori and ankimo lacked the depth of flavor I've experienced elsewhere. The fried salmon skin handroll was very brittle, which was not an enjoyable experience to eat. I would totally come here again for toro and beer, but that's probably it.
