Best baked goods in town! Their cookies always hit the spot.

Omg I can't forget the taste of their tiramisu

I love the concept of a by the slice pie and cake dessert shop! They have cookies, ice cream, coffee, and pastry goods across the spectrum. They sell whole cakes/pies and have slice options as well. On a Sunday night they were busy! We waited in line 2-3 minutes and our orders came out within 10 minutes. We didn't get a bad pastry, so definitely recommend mixing and matching. Yum, thanks Eugene for this sweet little gem.

Notice traveling foodies * this is a must stop for baked goodness beyond your wildest Meyer lemon tart! This is where birthdays are spent after dinner for most the families special celebrating. From the basic molasses cookie to the napoleon to the delicate tarts and cheesecakes. Just say yes to dessert and get to one of these premier Eugene spots. Trust!

Let's talk cookies: in general their cookies are a strange texture. If you are from the South the cookies are tougher than we like. However, the flavors are good. I suggest the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. Amazing. Not as big of a fan of the ginger molasses. I like the old fashioned ginger molasses cookies my grandmother makes, more brown than black, thin, exceptionally chewy, large and round. These are thick, dry, and bitter. Not a fan but maybe it is cultural and this is how the ginger molasses cookies are made in the West. The pumpkin spice cookie is like a cake cookie. Very good. Definitely get the pumpkin spice. Let's talk desserts:

What I love most about this location is that it is 1. right next door to Prince Pucklers and 2. close to the U of O campus. Even if you aren't a student, this area of Eugene is so fun to visit. As others have mentioned, the shop itself is a much smaller version of the original Sweet Life, but they still have a good selection of pastries and desserts to choose from. And as I mentioned, Prince Pucklers is next door so you can get that brownie AND some ice cream to go with it, all while supporting two great local businesses :)

So yummy! A gem in the valley! I love the key lime tart and the poppy seed cake, and the Josephine, and the vanilla bean marshmallows, oh and the cheesecakes, and... well you get the point.

The best bakery in town, if you haven't visited, you are overdue.

What's better than Sweet Life? Another Sweet Life! The Petite location sits on what feels like an up-and-coming street corner that's been bursting with life recently. A little mini culinary oasis just off campus. Even though I know the cases are smaller than at the main location, the selection of treats still feels really big! We're always excited to explore what's on offer and we always leave satisfied.

I got the confetti cake, my husband got the passionfruit cheesecake and a poppyseed almond(?) cupcake. The cheesecake was good, but there was a bit too much crust. The cupcake was okay but the buttercream was cold and hard. But the confetti cake... was nasty. The cherry filling was pretty good but the cake itself had the texture of a wet sponge cake and again, buttercream was cold and hard. I'll stick to their cheesecakes and cookies from now on, if I go back.

They're always consistently excellent. My little kids always insist on stopping here for cupcakes and cookies. And my spouse always gets rave reviews when he brings cakes and treats in for his team. We've only been going there for 15 years, but we've never had anything but great stuff! And omg that passion fruit curd berry tart!

A good variety of dessert items. We had a variety of petit fours and a very large slice of lime cheesecake. . . The cheesecake was not very sweet and our group of 8 did not finish one slice. The petit fours were good but so cold that we had to wait to be able to dig into them with a fork... they tasted delicious though.

This is a world class bakery and also has the best coffee around - Equator. What could be better than that?

A great place to get a sweet treat and coffee. They make fantastic cakes for all occassions.

Wonderful chocolate mousse, Straberry rhubarb pie, savory croissants, esspresso. Terrible line access though, no indoor seating. Has a bathroom tho

So Sweet Life Petite is the small version of the Patisserie! It's definitely worth going to, the desserts are just the same and super amazing. But it's definitely a smaller version and doesn't have near as much stuff. No coffee or ice cream at this one. But this place is seriously so good and it's right next to Prince Puckler's which does have ice cream! Overall, this area is really cute, lots of outside seating too! And right near campus Go check it out!

We really have found this place is a great venue to have coffee and join in the University spirit. It doesn't have inside seating but it does have a nice outside area that one can bring their pup. Usually not needed to be said, but Sweet Life is also one of the very best bakeries in town, you can't go wrong no matter what you choose.

Always a fantastic variety of the most delectable desserts! Not the kind you could ever make at home! Friendly service, cute outdoor seating, vegan and gluten free offerings.

The selection here is great. I came here with my family to check out U of O. The pie here is especially good, I bought a slice of peach raspberry pie. I am a pie snob, but fruit pies are simple to make, but they can be ruined if the fruit is bland or it has wimpy crust. The peaches were intense and fresh. For crust I want something that's almost a shortbread cookie texture, I don't care for butter crusts, this one was not butter but something else, I forgot what she told me, but the the slice was perfect. If peach raspberry pie weren't always a tad soupy (it always is} I could have picked up the slice by the crust and eaten it like pizza. I also bought a slice of a thick bittersweet chocolate cake with strawberries on top. I think it's a cake, the texture was more like cheesecake. So rich, so good. If you're going to get dessert, come here.

Friendly and delicious, the hole-in-the-wall extension of Eugene's unique and amazing Sweet Life. ♡ anytime I've left Eugene I long for the sweet treats and laid back atmosphere that Sweet life & petite bring to our town. Must try. Every baked good they pour love and skill into. ♡

A smaller offshoot of sweet life patissiere, has much the same stuff. I particularly like the orange cardamom morning buns. It's a little small/cramped of a space, even a few customers can feel like a crowd. Service is usually solid though, efficient and friendly.

Pure sweetness in every bite. We've had a number of treats over time and we're never disappointed! Worth every cent and calorie!

Loved it... Fat boys luv cake! This place is PHAT!

How excellent this bakery truly is! I not only loved how delicious my raspberry lemon whoopie pie was, but just how many seasonal options they have. I went with a bigger group and everyone got something different and nobody was unhappy at all. My best friend swears by their creme brulee and it certainly was delicious. My other companion swears by their carrot cake, though they had sold out by the time we had gotten there. The meringue cookies were beautiful and very delicious as well. Their cakes and pies all look scrumptious and if I wasnt already stuffed from dinner, I might've gotten more...

If you need your sweet life fix quick stop in here. Parking is hard like the location downtown but you can get in and out so much quicker. You don't have seating inside and the selection is smaller but the same as downtown. And you can stop here after you eat somewhere close and get it to go or eat outside. All of their desserts are too notch. Their dairy free desserts are amazing. You wouldn't even know they're missing dairy. I'm super addicted to sugar so trust me. They make great cheesecakes and eclairs as well as whatever else you see in their glass cases.

Sofia Z.

Love sweet life, I wish they had sugar free options. They do have vegan, gluten free, beautiful deserts great coffee. Yes a thousand times.

Greg G.

Hip. Fun. Good food. Happening. Great place to stop and grab desert at. Bit of a line, but that goes with being hip.

This was my first visit to the 19th street location. There was no wait (there was a line out to the street at Prince Pucklers next door!). We went for the Creme Brulee. NOT Disappointed. It was a great ending to my birthday. So many tempting treats to taste. I'm pretty sure we'll be back for more.

Amy G.

I've never had a bad dessert here but I have to say the lemon bars are my absolute favorite. I could literally eat my weight in them. If I go to another dessert place in my life i will die a happy woman.

Paul_K_Oregon

Great seating area out front. Can’t vouch for all the cakes but they certainly looked amazing. Coffee was good and hot. Very nice spot

Steve Gibson

Maybe too sweet, but maybe not!

This 19th street Sweet Life location is supportive, inclusive, accepting of diversity, and I feel it's inviting. The other location is not totally accepting of diversity. There have been times when I have had problems with the staff. As if they have a problem with me because I am a transgender woman. In another life, I would frequent the Monroe location and NEVER treated poorly! I give this review a 5 star as it is about the 19th street location, not the Monroe Street location.

Just had their vegan carrot walnut cupcake with orange buttercream.... Oh. My. Lanta. It was absolutely divine. If you haven’t been... you MUST visit - I wanted to try everything!

Amy Manley

Not a fan of their actual cake however...their tarts, cheesecakes and other sweet treats are always on point. This smaller sweet life location is great! Close to campus and South Eugene area. The employees have been very friendly and not snooty.

Todd Miller

A Eugene favorite. One thing I like about Sweet Life is they attract a very diverse crowd. You can't go wrong with any of their selections. They also have many vegan and gluten free options. It is close to UO and two parks...a great place to grab a quick bite and enjoy nearby.

David Lewis

I shouldn't like this place as much as I do. Their all butter chocolate chip cookies are a personal favorite. Cute location too.

Makenna Colby

I love that you have options that are free of milk and eggs!! It's great that I can eat delicious vegan pastries here with my friends, thank you so much!
