Rachel was very friendly. Though we just had espresso and tea, place had a cordial atmosphere and is part of the Gold Beach Books which specializes in used and rare books. Really nice combination.
Went into Rachel's, had her pour out the abomination I had just purchased from " The Coffee Dock, (see review), ordered a Mocha. She asked if I wanted whip, didn't ask for extra $ for it, unlike the Coffee Dock. Mocha was made with the Ghirardelli powdered chocolate, which makes a profoundly better mocha. I know if you guys is what I use at home. Thank God a decent cuppa coffee!

I am really funny about coffee, so I decided on the chai latte. It was pretty good, but it's out of a carton. Bummer. My friend got a mocha and said the coffee was kinda weak and a bit stale (the shot of espresso blew through with zero creama). She said it wasn't "bad." But it's BY FAR the best in Gold Beach hands-down. We don't even go to any other coffee places in town. No drive-thru, but that's okay.
