This place has decent mixed drinks (their Bloody Mary mix is rather good), but their beer selection has always been very AB heavy. The food tastes like it came directly off the Cisco truck. I bring family members here when there in town and we want some strong cocktails, but so much more could be done with the space.

Vegetarian options: I asked the server for the nachos to put half meat and half not meat and it was really good

The one side is very pub like. Played dominoes while we waited for our food. Service was adequate for whatever reason there was only one person on duty and she was the cook and the bartender and the wait person. And she never seemed flustered or snarky. The dust and cobwebs underneath the piano and on the pedals was a bit disconcerting. And the food was so salty was possible to finish. My cousin had overcooked shredded pork bowl. The came with a small handful of tortilla chips. That were not freshly made and in fact when I was able to see into the kitchen they came out of a bag of some of the cheapest brands that you would get out of gas station. I ordered fish and chips. What I got was two very small albeit beautifully battered pieces of fish probably the size I would get out of a box of Gorton's. The fact that wouldn't be surprised if that's where they came from. And skinny fries I happen to love shoestring fries but they seemed to be battered or seasoned maybe the oil was just not clean and everything else was deep fried in it I don't know. And they were so oversalted I couldn't finish them. They were served with tartar sauce and enough ketchup to feed three. I had to go back to the bar and ask for malt vinegar. And pretty sure they were rationing that out. obviously since they were shoestring the concept of vinegar on your chips was lost. I really wanted to like this place and maybe The alcohol is their focus. In English and Irish pubs you get some of the best English and Irish food. This was not the case here. To charge $18 for something I literally could have gotten from my grocerers freezer feels almost criminal.

There is a reason why it's always empty. We stopped there on a Thursday night to find that one dude decided to try to cook (worst food of our entire trip), bartend, wait tables, host, all at once. Just keep on scrolling to the next place.

Most of the pubs and restaurants near this place are packed. This place is not. Oak St Pub has an expansive outdoor area that many other bars would crave. Too bad they do not take advantage of it. There is a good reason it is so much emptier than the other pubs in town. First, the beer selection on tap is mediocre at best. A shame in a town with so many great beers made locally and no information posted about the beers available at all. The food menu is small in selections. I ordered Fish & Chips. For $17.00 I received 2 very small pieces of cod and basket of fries with enough salt to pucker your mouth. The fish was pretty typical breaded cod but 4 bites and it was gone. Way overpriced. The Pub burger was $16.00 and you get a few over salted potato chips with it. There is no table order service and the cashier also waited tables. I saw no other employees. And not exactly the cleanest place even given it is a dive bar.

Have been going past here for the last 4 years without stopping in. Glad we stopped today on our walk to experience it.Prices are fair. We had a drink each. Plenty of outdoor seating, nothing special inside as it is a bit small.

I am not someone who posts negative reviews ever, but paid for a soft pretzel. It was undercooked, not great to eat, and gave me and the person with me food poisoning. The service was alright for sure, but the experience entirely was not worth going compared to other places nearby that are also cheaper with better service.

Ate here as part of midway stop enroute from Idaho to Olympic Park. Good food and service. We split a bowl of clam chowder--a requirement when visiting Oregon or Washington. It was awesome and in a huge generous trough-like bowl.

Divey old pub with lots of dead plants, fried food cooked by the same (grumpy) guy that pours the beer and takes smoke breaks on the patio. Lots of outdoors tables but overall pretty sad and forlorn.

Ordered a pulled pork sandwich, and received THE worst pulled pork tacos I've had in my life...not exaggerating. Utterly flavorless pork and salsa, along with a pile of nasty cilantro. Indifferent service. No wonder it's almost empty on. Saturday night. Never going back.

Unfortunately we were underwhelmed by the whole experience. The bloody Mary was average, the draft beer wasn't very cold. And our food (burger and fish tacos) were basic and bland. Overall for the price, it wasn't worth it. Probably won't be back.
