What has happened to this place?? There was one waitress/do everything young woman, but she could not make up for the 45 minute wait for food. One dish was so late we took it to go. The waitress felt so bad that she gave my husband HER lunch. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Pee all over the floor. Hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. One of the members tried to get some change for a tip, but when the woman opened the cash register there was NO money in it. The ATM was also out of order. The poor employee left in tears. What a horrid experience for all involved.Shame on you, Applegate General Store Cafe. Shame on you.

Don't be fooled by the extensive menu. My wife and decided to take a trip out to the Applegate. We had been there when the previous owners were there. I understand the fact that starting a business is a monumental endeavor, But as we placed our order we were told that they had no french fries.I had my heart set on a hot pastrami as they said on their website that they cured and smoked their own meats. then I was told that they had no pastrami. It was then we decided to take our hunger to another establishment.

Delicious veggie burger, be sure to add grilled mushrooms! The burger patty, pickles, and fry sauce were all made in house. All around great experience thanks a hundred million!

Came here for some quick roadside food, staff were extremely friendly towards me and my dogs. Will come here again given the chance

At Applegate Store and Cafe will receive Homemade breakfast, burgers and soups. Friendly service at reasonable prices. What not to like?
