This place had incredible soups, and other food as well. My little kids age 5 and 9 will not order off the kids menu once they taste the soups. This is hard to believe, but they love the cauliflower and ham and pea soup. We have also ordered 2 panini's and they are superb.Service is outstanding. I hope this place stays open forever! We will always be loyal customers. ?

Cute place where we stopped for lunch. Decor was very cute. Mainly wraps and sandwiches and some bowls on the menu. The special today was clam chowder so I had a cup, with a pear-chicken-goat cheese wrap. The chowder was tasty but very thin, more like a broth with big chunks of potatoes and very little pieces of clams. My wrap was tasteless, pear was hard, goat cheese was hard to find and the arugula was stringy. Not a good combo at all. My friend ordered a sweet potato bowl with quinoa and chicken but got green salad with goat cheese instead. They later discovered their mistake and brought a side of quinoa and chicken and sweet potato. Not too appetizing. They were out of potato salad so a bit disappointing experience overall.

The Twisted Tarragon Salad is one of my favorites from any restaurant!

Was driving through Klamath Falls and was in need of a tasty lunch break. Mermaid Garden Cafe was the perfect spot to satisfy my appetite! The place was jam packed but I still received fast service with a smile and friendliness. I ordered a Cheddar and Apple sandwich with the Thai slaw and it was so delicious! I highly recommend this cute joint!

Great homemade potato salad. Sandwich too thin and outer crust a bit tough.

The ambiance and Service was great, very friendly. They had gluten free bread for any of the sandwiches and the server knew what was gluten free. Great place to stop on the drive thru Oregon.

Delightful and delicious! On our way through town we stopped and had lunch. Super friendly staff and fresh salads and sandwiches. We are especially enjoyed the strawberry lemonade and the Southwest grilled cheese with chicken.

This little gem is in the center of downtown on Main St. and it is amazing!! The atmosphere, the decor, the soups and sandwiches, the friendly staff. If you've never been...it is definitely worth a visit. Keep these local places going strong friends. Next time you're going out for lunch, I highly recommend The Mermaid Garden Cafe.

Visiting a friend in Klamath Falls, she took us to one of her go-to places, the Mermaid Cafe, and it did not disappoint! Interesting menu and specials, fresh and tasty food, and very friendly staff. Wish this restaurant was in my home town and not 400 miles away...

I ordered a Reuben and it had two maybe three slices of meat. The cheese and sour kraut was good but I went back to my office after lunch and ate a protein bar. The Thai cabbage salad on the side was just ok. It has a little orange and ginger but it needs more dressing or flavor. For the price, I don't think a sandwich is worth it. I might return to try a salad. My wife's side salad with blue cheese pear dressing was great.
