Standard Portland coffee house. Friendly staff, mellow atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating on an interesting intersection. Good people-watching and all the things you'd expect from a well sorted Portland café.

The subtle shaming of a tip brings abhorrent feelings. Like damn sorry the tip wasn't high enough

Bagels were the perfect size and super filling-just what I was craving! The seasonal matcha lemonade was absolutely delicious and refreshing. I loved it so much I went back the next day for more. Great customer service was friendly, fast, and welcoming. Definitely a new favorite spot!

I love coming here in the morning. Clinton street coffee house has helped me be better at bringing my own reusable coffee mug. Today, I learned that they even have their own reusable mugs that can be used if you are drinking your coffee at the shop. Clinton street has great espresso, but with three great drip selections, that is pour yourself, I am always happy going in and picking up a coffee to go in the morning. One of my favorite places in the neighborhood!

Great little spot to stop for delicious decaf espresso, bagels, breakfast sandwiches (including vegan options), a fair assortment of pastries (vegan aren't labeled so you have to ask), and seriously friendly staff. My only issue is that this place is SO loveable that they're always busy and seating can be difficult to snag when too chilly to sit outside. Otherwise it's a gem!!

Convenient place for coffee. The workers are a bit snooty especially when it comes to straws and plastic cups I’ve noticed over the last year. It would be nice if they had safer gluten free options but what they have is very nice. Overall it’s good.

Okay so the first time I came here, I though staff was kind of rude and short with me but I didn't take it personally.

A couple weeks later, I came in and both baristas have their backs turned to me for longer than 3 minutes (feels like being ignored, a hello works fine. Doesn't take that much energy)....

Then the sales interaction was just awkward and uncomfortable. There was something on the menu I realized I didn't want- and I put it back in the cold case and changed my mind. The girl took the opportunity to ask me during the sale "btw is that dog a service dog?"

Here's the deal; you can ask me about my dog all you'd like (and yes she is. I have PTSD and autism) and I found your interaction quite rude.

Why would you wait to ask me about my dog who is being held in my arms, while we are taking the order in a very passive aggressive manner? Find a better way to get the answers you need out of people who are supporting your business and actually buying your gross coffee and attempting to buy your overpriced food.

You're never supposed to start taking the order and lead me into a passive aggressive situation when you then decide me to ask about my dog after I put something back that I didn't want. I asked how much the sandwich was and after finding out that it was nearly $12 I was like okay I don't want this anymore and before I could even put the sandwich back you were asking me if my dog was a service dog or not.

I HAVE BEEN HERE THREE TIMES IN THE LAST COUPLE WEEKS WITH RUBY IN MY ARMS EACH TIME, WHY WAS IT IN THIS TRANSACTION THAT YOU'D BRING ANYTHING UP?

I WOULD LIKE TO GET THE OWNERS INFORMATION AND SPEAK TO THEM.

I don't know what heaven looks like, but I always picture it looks a little something like Clinton Street Coffeehouse.

I come here multiple times per week and it is hands down my favorite coffee shop in the city! Everyone is super friendly and the drinks are always consistent and served quickly. I highly recommend their sweetened matcha. Thank you to the staff for being so amazing!

Great coffee. Got a decaf oat milk latte that was very tasty. Nice veggie and vegan options too including tofu based cream cheese, vegan sausage patties and fake egg.

Great local coffee shop with a knowledgeable fun staff. Much of clientele are regulars that hangout, or drag in their laptops to get out of house & work for a few hours. They have monthly rotating art by local artists so always fun to come in after 1st of month & see the new art.

Kid-friendliness: Have a kids play area.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp, enough space between tables to move.
