Enjoyed a catered order by Jada’s Soulful eats! Great food, great portions and great flavor! We served to a large, mixed crowd of people who couldn’t help but gobble up their share and come back for seconds!
The green beans with turkey and the lasagna were the biggest hits! The Apple and feta salad was perfectly proportioned for a great balance of flavors! All of it was great food and the priced right! Almost forgot the barbecue wings- which perfectly cooked! Yum!

Catered our church's anniversary banquet and the food was very good! Loved the lasagna, green beans, red beans and rice! The sweet tea, cookies, pies...it was all good!!

Vegetarian options: The was also a meat lasagna AND veggie lasagna.

This is the first time I've had fried catfish in a long while. I ordered a 3 piece catfish with Mac and greens. This brings back a lot of memories from our family friends cooking. The catfish was very tender and not dry at all! Greens were perfectly seasoned and that mac is unreal! Thank you so much! Highly recommended!

Disappointed. A 3 could have been a 5. Why? I ordered via DoorDash. I did not get 1 napkin, not 1 fork, not 1 sauce/hot sauce. If I order DoorDash and get a bag stapled w a receipt - that is now on the restaurant and not DoorDash to provide my accessories that will make my meal enjoyable! Yeah - so enjoy your 3 from your out of town guests who when we return to the area will not return here. Saying you are the best soul food in Portland and not giving that experience is a fail. 🤕

First of all, this place is amazing. I was in downtown flavor town with the catfish po'boy, which was amazing. The catfish was fried fresh with a super crunchy crust but buttery smooth fish on the inside. It's the kinda soul food I felt in my soul. The price for the portion size is definitely more than worth it! One po'boy was more than enough for me, and I'm 230lbs. I definitely will be coming back! Best food on mlk!

This place is so incredible!! I went here for the first time today with a friend who loves soul food and he said it’s the best he’s ever had. The catfish was amazing, super fresh with a very clean flavor and not oily at all. We got the collard greens and mac and cheese, which were also top tier! It’s a substantial portion size for the price, we shared the 3pc catfish between 2 people and it was plenty of food. The service was great and everyone working there was really sweet!! We will DEFINITELY be back.
