Delicious brunch, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Would visit again.
The server, Hyacinth, was incredibly kind and welcoming that by the time we left, it felt like we’d made a new friend! The menu had great options for our vegan friend, and when one person in our group was running late, Hyacinth thoughtfully took his order but held it until he arrived so his meal would be fresh. Service was attentive, our drinks stayed full, and the food was fantastic. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Portland!

Pancakes were weird, doughy maybe. Eggs were rubber. My wife’s omelette was just a slab of egg product with veggies underneath it. Hash browns were okay. Service was fine.

Downtown Portland on a weekend; walked, seated and had an amazing brunch. Vanilla latte was amazing! Food was great.

Food was great! It could've been a couple dollars cheaper but I'm not unsatisfied by any means. Service was fantastic. Atmosphere is okay, niche I suppose. Chairs were wildly uncomfortable - if you go, grab a booth or a bar seat.

We are currently here and have been here almost an hour with no food. We have watched tables get sat, get their drinks and food, and leave before we even got our drink order. Do *NOT* get a window seat because they will completely forget you are here even while making eye contact and smiling at every single server that walks right past you. We unfortunately got the worst server in the entire restaurant but the fact all the other servers are walking past us, noticing we are not getting helped, and refusing to help because they are not our designated server. Unfortunately this was a terrible first time experience here. Hopefully next time we get a better table & server (if there is a next time)

Right next to one of my other favorite spots, Mother's Bistro...The Kingsland Kitchen somehow wasn't on my radar.
We were in a hurry and crossed our fingers hoping to get in get out. The regular tables were all full, but they have bar top window seating which was just fine. We were set and served immediately and our food came out way faster than it should have, and was so fresh and tasty. I ordered the slow cow tacos which were unbelievable, so good!! I can't remember what my wife's dish was called, but it was also excellent. Don't know what brand of coffee they are using but it was excellent as well. Prices were more than fair And we made it out of there with time to spare.
We will see you again soon, Kingsland!
(Oh, those potatoes were excellent as well!)

This is a place that is trying to be fancy but is really only mediocre. It was so loud that I couldnt hear anyone at my table speak. I ordered the American breakfast but my eggs came cold. My father was given a used glass with lipstick on the rim and it was so hot my whole family was sweating by the time we left. They also do not allow substitutions of any kind which is difficult for kids and people with food sensitivities. I say skip this place and go to Elmer's. It won't look as fancy, but the food will be better and you will be able to actually hear what's going on around you.

They make you feel welcomed super friendly and the food was one of the best I’ve had in my travels to Oregon (Colorado resident)

We felt uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. Nobody welcomed us; they just pointed to a table for us to sit at. We were given the menus and waited almost 10 minutes before someone took our order, and only because we called the waiter, even though the place was empty. The staff’s attitude made us feel as if our presence was a bother.
We decided to stay hoping the food would make up for the experience, since we were hungry, but it was another disappointment: bland and boring dishes, and my coffee was cold. The only redeeming quality is the atmosphere of the place, but the staff definitely needs improvement (or replacement).
We won’t be coming back, thank you.

I have good memories from a year ago and more of the food and beverages here. It has gone downhill since. The pancakes were rubbery. The chicken Benedict was not the same in by all means stay away from the Matcha unless you just want to pay for green milk.
I had the full English. The grind of the bangers was mealy and established the theme of unseasoned flavorlessness that defined both of our meals. We also had brisket Benedict at the recommendation of our hyper-Portlandian server. It was properly cooked but also unseasoned and without any discernable flavor. We left about $70 lighter and wondering whether we should get COVID tests
