Favorite place in the city for Phó!
When I arrived with a friend, we noticed that it was super busy! However the server was fast and chill. The food was absolutely bomb!

Beware of hidden charges at Mekha Noodle Restaurant!
I was charged a 30% tip without being told, and the staff even asked for an additional tip as if I wouldn’t notice. When I questioned the bill and asked to see the itemized receipt, they refused at first and only showed it after I insisted. Then they said this was part of their policy — yet no such policy was posted anywhere in the restaurant, not on the menu, walls, or tables.
After I confronted them, they eventually removed the charge, but the whole experience felt dishonest. It’s clear this restaurant is trying to take advantage of customers who don’t double-check their bills. Check your receipt carefully before paying!

The food was good, but not great. We noticed that the 2 parties of Vietnamese families were waited on first, got huge plates of herbs, and plenty of extra plates, condiments.
We whitey people were ignored. Whenever we requested things, like shrimp paste, water, beer, and viet coffee, more herbs, we were ignored. We never got any of the things listed above. The waiter was rude. They made it so obvious we weren't welcome.
We were a party of 5 people. Left feeling weird.

Restaurantji Recommends
Cashier doesnt speak Vietnamese in Vietnamese restaurant but I am okay with that. She has no Name Tag on her T-shirt, and when we asked for her name, she said that he had NO NAME. Very unprofessional, we will never come back to this place.

We were visiting Portland for a week, and decided to stop in for some soup. This place was delicious! I had the bun bo hue and my partner had the pho. We also shared the chicken pot stickers. The broth was so flavorful. We arrived around 1130am and there were only a handful of other people at the restaurant. Highly recommend!

Get 12A on the menu!!!
This restaurant has both Vietnamese and Cambodian influence in the menu, and some of the the BEST noodle soup I’ve found, the PHNOM PENH NOODLES!
My favorite is 12A on the menu, with both rice and egg noodles. I add some Hoisin, Sriracha, fish sauce, and all the sides that come with it, it’s to DIE for!!! I cannot recommend this cute restaurant any higher, go check it out!
