I have driven past here almost daily for several years and finally decided to give them a try for lunch the other day. I was not disappointed! I was seated right away and offered tea. Everything came out quickly and was hot. The portion sizes are on par with every other Chinese restaurant I’ve gone to, but the chow mein is the best I’ve had! I am a garlic lover, and I could see the minced garlic in the vegetables. The breading on the sweet and sour pork was perfectly done, though I would have liked more of the sauce (personal preference, my husband would have thought it was just right). Prices are reasonable, and I will definitely be back. I’m disappointed I haven’t tried them sooner!

I have been eating there off and on for years now, and it is one of the finest Chinese restaurants in Salem (Oregon). The food is superb and always well-cooked. The restaurant itself has an attentive, family-style feel to it that is unpretentious and very casual. It is one of those unheralded gems of a place that are worth experiencing; most especially for the food itself, because that's what it's all about - the wonderfully delicious Chinese food !Parking: Wheelchair accessible. ♿️
Dont listen to the bad reviews ..those are just karens !! Hot fresh and plenty of food !! The service is like home ,ya its an old place cause they have been here since 1965 and that says a lot about the type of food and people who run and own this great place !! Visited this place yesterday. Extremely fast service. We had barely ordered food when it arrived. My wife had chicken with green beans. She says they were "done just right, delightfully crunchy, not undercooked nor overcooked." I had the Sichuan Beef, and it was fantastic. Also very cheap.
