A perfect showcase of how backwards Oregon governing systems are. This DMV surely must be the least helpful and least caring in the country. Horrible hold music and messages, long wait times, no technical features – they are not on the electronic system! The people here are clearly costing and do not care. Just the worst, absolutely the worst DMV system to deal with. Zero stars.

I had to mail a request for a document and a check to get a transfer of title. Why are we not able to download documents or have them sent via email? I sent in my request over two weeks ago. I’m currently on the phone to ask about it. I’ve been on hold 35 minutes. Complete clowns.

Rules that are twisted until they make no sense. Argumentative rude staff. If you get really lucky, you might get a person on the phone who actually wants to help, but most of them just want to frustrate the process and blame it on Oregons government. The helpful ones are outnumbered and stifled. Looks to me like far right hillbillies doing their lower level jobs badly because they don't like Oregons leadership. Once you get far enough up the chain, there are people who can be helpful. Some of those people agree with me as to the lower lever right wing hillbilly problem.

I have been on the phone for days and hours, to many places trying to get a speeding ticket that was not mine taken off of my license. I have gotten the run around by everyone until now. This was Washington State and a business called Lexis Nexis. I guess I just wasn't asking the correct questions! A wonderful gentleman by the name of Dale was the first person that understood what I needed to to and what needed to be done. Within minutes he had sent the info to Washington State about the ticket that had been vacated. I really can't thank him enough!!! 3 cheers for DALE!!!!

DMV doesn't deserve one star. Arrogant, Rude, Condescending, picks on Public. Agency is in dire need of being Sued for harassment, persecution and behaving like they are God. I lost any respect I had fir them from their Lies and Heavy handed Mistreatment of the public drivers.

My grandfather lost a couple documents, so we called Oregon DMV. Randy was very kind and patient in serving us and answered all our questions and concerns. He walked us through the entire process and got us squared away in only a few minutes. Randy should get a raise for sure. Can't say enough, truly the best experience I've had with any state DMV. I know it's unpopular to give a good rating to the DMV, but I have to because I just had a very good experience. I made a big mistake, and I was so worried it would take hours and hours to resolve and maybe a bunch of money too.I called in and waited in the queue. It was less than ten minutes. Probably just by chance of when I called, and had I called at another time I might have not rated the DMV so highly. A representative named Johnny answered. Johnny listened to me describe what I had done and offered me a nearly painless solution. The solution cost me all of ten bucks and ten minutes of my time.Yay!Thanks Johnny.
Tried to get the title & registration transferred for an RV. Sent them everything they asked for (including originals & money). Never recieved anything in return. Phone line waits are obscene. No call back options. Worst DMV ever. Of course everyone knows & this will get me no where.

I wish I could give oregon dmv and court system a negative star review. I got a suspension on my license a year later for having 3 violations instead of a couple months. Or that month since I paid the fine showing of guilt, yet when I received a letter at that time saying I was suspended I found out I wasn't. Now I have 2 suspensions on my license after another violation due to unconstitutional cameras that they have posted all around the state run by a company is Australia. I'm so glad I don't live in oregon again as it is such a corrupt state.

Called to get information about CDL and NRVC. After being on hold for 30 minutes. The 2 questions I had. The DMV rep said I don't know to both. Neither did the supervisor that I asked to speak to. What a mess of state government!!!

If i could give the oregon DMV 0 stars i would. I spoke with someone about out of state titling and my trip plates are now expired. how is everything by mail? what is this 1990? why are things not available by digital portal now? this is insane that it takes 7 weeks to make plates
