My lovely brother ordered us the Thanksgiving meal again this year along with a meat and fruit tray (price jumped up $30, since last year) and only for a 10 lb turkey, and 4 sides, which one is cranberry sauce (who eats that) and now you don't even get a pie or rolls anymore. I fully recognize this Safeway hasn't had the best rap. For years, I dreaded going because I knew what to expect: disorganized produce section, questionable maintenance, dated interior, and worst of all, incredibly shoddy service. This part of Salem was never the nicest, but slowly but surely things have been turning around. It's a weird store but I really like it. INSIDE IS CLEAN Outside is kinda clean. The prices OUCHY HURTS THE WALLET Most of the staff is nice they seem way understaffed. The shelves are almost always stocked.The food is always pretty good,not ever outdated or molded.I WILL BE GOING BACK HOPE TO SEE YA THERE.
