Some of the best non-dairy options I have ever had. They always have new and interesting flavors so there's always something to try.

Ice cream kinda tasted like gelato mixed with sorbet and ice cream. Pretty unique.

While it’s a little saddening to no longer have soft serve ice cream here, they at least finally switched ownership and are no longer selling through a weird vending machine! Plus, the dairy free options still slap.. and there’s no where in town that I’ve been able to find dairy free that isn’t just a fruit sorbet. I have never seen DF pumpkin “ice cream” ever either.. it was delicious!

My husband and I were craving ice cream, Salem is pretty slim on the pickings when it comes to ice cream, so we decided to try something new and fun sounding. Slick Licks sounded like just the place, and we have been to Fork Forty before, and genuinely like the place.Walking in we quickly realized there were slim pickings. We decided on peach vanilla and raspberry vanilla. The peach tasted of slight peach but was super underwhelming. We looked forward to the raspberry one, but it tasted like raspberry water that was frozen and mashed into "ice cream".Super unfortunate for the person who craves basic ice cream.

The vanilla peach ice cream was really good! Loved the oat milk based ice cream, and I'm not even a dairy free person!

Really good stuff! They just switched to hard pack from soft serve and the change gets 100 thumbs up from me! Super rich and creamy stuff now - like gourmet beyond Hagen Daaz. They've streamlined the menu too - just scoops. No frills or gimmicks, just solid flavors. Also, FREE SPRINKLES!My wife said the Ginger Almond Toffee was the best thing she had ever had. Being dairy-free, I immensely appreciated the Vegan Yuzu Marmalade.

They used to always have at least two vegan soft serve options. Now they don't have any soft serve. They just sell pints out of vending machines.

Yummy ice cream. It doesn't look like much, but all their flavors were good: mint and chip-pistachio-vanilla. I'll be back to try the other flavors.

absolutely delicious and very pleasant staff! amazing all around.
Very good milkshake! I got a chocolate cookie mocha shake and it was really good I also liked how they gave me a "milkshake straw" and not a regular straw like most other places do. I will return to try other items on their menu.

The people here are not very friendly. That's not negativity. It's a fact. Never got a "hello" and usually I had to stand and wait because no one was behind the counter. Went last time with my husband and saw the woman go outside and just stand there on the phone so we waited a few minutes and left. The flavors are okay. Nothing mind-blowing. In all honesty I got a pint of ice cream at Roth's that was better and cheaper than the double at Slick Licks. The less-than-great flavors and shitty service are not a good combo. You have to acknowledge your customers and realize that their business keeps you in business. Otherwise people will go elsewhere.

They say it's small batch made ice cream. Only two of the ice creams were made with milk. The other flavors were oat milk, which I normally like. I thought the flavors tasted off. We got a small ice cream with a topping. We left with the ice cream. When we started eating it we realized the center was vacant. The swirl stacked and made a hole in the center. So we only got less of the ice cream.

Some of the flavors have been good but multiple times I've been in and there's been no one behind the counter. Just end up standing there waiting. Went in today and the woman walked out as I was going in. Saw her standing by the tree talking on the phone even though the sign said "be back in less than 10 minutes, restocking." Ended up leaving.I like supporting small businesses but the small businesses also need to realize that it's the customers who keep them open in the first place.

Great ice cream with vegan options! Friendly staff and super unique. Unlike any of the other ice cream shops in Salem. Yum!
