Where to begin? Super nice premise, very poorly executed. Splendid location, which would have had a great view if anyone there knew how to clean windows.Apparently the cook thinks everything should have a spicy tang to it. My salmon had a spicy avocado based sauce on it, which wasn't bad in and of itself, but so over powered the salmon that it could have been anything and had the same flavor.Same thing went for my Wife's dish, the bay shrimp stuffed sole, 2 problems, it also had an over powering spicy sauce, and there was no evidence of any shrimp in it. She didn't care for it at all.Her dish came with polenta which was just as blah as could be.On to the wine, or lack there of. They have fairly reasonable wine menu and a fair sized cocktail menu. But when my wife asked the waitress about the wines, she said she didn't know anything about them. STRIKE ONE. My wife asked if she could ask the bartender if they could come out, she replied they didn't have a bartender. STRIKE TWO. My wife asked if there was anyone available, the answer was no. STRIKE THREE.How / who the heck is making the cocktails if someone orders one?We were really hoping for a good dining experience, but we didn't get one at Maggie's.If you own a restaurant, spend some time at your restaurant, train your staff, get some staff (bartender?).Gordon Ramsey isn't doing Kitchen nightmares anymore so you are going to have to figure this stuff out for yourself.

Generously rounding up to 3 stars.Beautiful atmosphere with open patio and views of the beach is 5 stars.The food was mostly awful:My salmon tacos had some sort of store bought (you could taste the unique chemical flavor of store bought guacamole) guacamole on it which was not what I expected. The salmon was waaay over cooked as well-not sure if it was even fresh to begin with. It was not at all what I was expecting for the price and location. I’ve had substantially better tacos from just about any food truck..The person who appeared to be the manager was sitting at a table on her laptop and bossing servers around right as you walk in the restaurant which is sort of weird in its own right.I picked up a to go order that was missing a bowl of clam chowder and my wife called when I got back to our room to let them know I’d be right back to get it. Instead of having it ready to go, the manager queried me on what size and apathetically bossed someone to go get it and had me wait a few minutes, despite them not being at all busy and my wife having called 5 minutes prior. Basically the manager was aloof and not service oriented in the slightest.

We had a group of 5 people and 2 dogs, which is already a lot to deal with. Then add in my foreign (and picky) mom, and the server had his work cut out for him! But he handled everything gracefully, the food came out quickly and was delicious, the atmosphere was calm and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area and the whole experience was worth the price of the food. Will definitely come back!

We enjoyed our meals here on the secluded outside eating area with our doodle. Servers were so great and shared their country's info and why they enrolled in a program to work summers at Maggies. Crafted drinks were excellent. Yummy coconut one.Looking forward to our next visit.

This place did not disappoint! It was well worth the money. The gnocchi with shrimp were out of this world good! Along with the sea witch fries, crab cake, Mac n cheese, and everything else. The drinks were delicious. Our waitress, Danielle, was amazing and we appreciate her recommendations very much! Absolutely add this restaurant to your Seaside list.

Service was terrible, rude, unprofessional. Didn’t know what was in their own dishes when we asked questions. Therefor we got shrimp in my dish that I didn’t ask for and not specified on their menu’s - we also literally said we didn’t want protein, just pasta- waitress was lost the entire time. i’m DEATHLY ALLERGIC to shrimp and they wouldn’t remake it or take it back. They weren’t even sympathetic, in fact they practically said too bad, you’re going to pay for it, we aren’t going to fix this. Meanwhile this dish I’m deathly allergic to sits in front of my face, was never removed even when I said I’m deathly allergic. We didn’t make a fuss, just paid and left kindly. Other food was flavorless, no seasoning, just looks good for the photos. So overpriced. Not to mention - Their responses to their bad reviews are extremely unprofessional. Waste of a good location - management needs a reality check for how they treat people here. “Fine dining”?!

July 2023This is an updated review. Came back because we enjoyed our experience last visit. This time nat as much. The food was ok. All 3 dishes lacked seasoning. We had the mac and cheese, sundried tomato and prawn fettuccine and prawn stuffed sole. Of the 3, the sole had the most flavor.Also, for the appetizer, we really enjoyed the crab cake.2021Service was a little slow but the food was incredible, worth the wait! Better get a reservation.

Great view from the outdoor pet friendly patio. Amazing handcrafted cocktails. Locally sourced King Salmon. The food was flavorful and unique and I highly recommend this place for dinner during your Seaside vacation.
