Stopped in for a qick bite, and are we glad we did food? It was great, nice folks. It was a little cold for my comfort and that was on the warmer side of the restaurant. Will make it a regular stop on coast tripsFood: 5/5

We enjoyed breakfast here in Dec 2022 and we can't wait to visit again and try lunch and dinner. There are a variety of seating options and plenty of room for big groups. The service was kind, attentive, and helpful. Felt like we were regulars, although it was our first time there - great spot to enjoy a yummy breakfast. I don't remember the name of our dishes, but both of our dishes were super tasty! Fresh homemade jam and the pancake was so good!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly spot.Parking: Free parking in front and in a lower lot. Room for a boat trailer if you are getting on/off river.

I hate giving a bad review so keep in mind it is based on only what I had. Ordered 2 eggs over easy, shredded hash browns, sausage links and toast. The hash browns were flavorless, not very crispy and should have been cooked more as seemed a little raw still. Eggs also flavorless, cooked ok, a little too on the runny side. Sausage had good flavor. Jam for the toast was yummy. This place is OLD, building seems run down and worn and on the dingy side. Filled with antiques but not like a quaint store, more just old stuff. I would not stop again.

We stopped here on our way from Portland to visit the Oregon coast and the meal was delicious. I had the corned beef hash (two poached eggs) that was incredible and my wife had the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and link sausage. Her gravy was not very hot but the flavor was still good. The jam that came with my sour bread toast seemed homemade and was really good. We were there on a Sunday morning in October and the place was dead, but our server said the foggy weather may have contributed to that. It was neat to see the old photos of the buildings when it had cabins behind it. Great breakfast spot!

Alice's was a great place to stop for breakfast. We ordered the breakfast skillet and pancakes with sausage links. The home cooked meals were tasty with large portions. The huge pancakes were thick and so good! Our service was great as well. I love that it was in the forest, a very pretty setting.

Passed up several restaurants to come to this one from Garibaldi. Hoping to get some oysters with breakfast. When we sat down we were "warned" there were two tables of 6 and 10 ahead of my hubs and I. (No "Hi how are you" or "welcome" which should have been our first clue as to how this was going to go. We ordered two omelette and asked if we could get a side of oysters. "Only if you order it as part of the egg breakfast." So, a whole other breakfast? Hmm. We passed. We had coffee and spent the next hour chatting and getting up to request coffee refills. After an hour wait we asked how much longer and were told there were still two more tables ahead of us. Hmm? Sounded like another hour wait. Long story short, can't tell you how the food is since we didn't have two hours+ to wait. The bread pudding we got togo looks good, the Marionberry pie is pretty small and soupy. Glad we didn't order the whole thing for $28. If you have a couple hours to waste, it might be nice.

OK seriously...some of the best food I've ever had. I don't even close to have the words to quite describe it. If you pass this place, stop on by. I would happily pay 10.00 more for what I got. Great, friendly service too.Just wow!Edit. Came back for luch. Absolutely not disappointed, food has no business being this dang obscenely good.

The breakfast here is OUTSTANDING!! We will definitely be going back. Very cute place where you can tell this is where the locals go for their meals. A very unspoken about little treasure that often gets driven by. Do yourself a favor and eat here!

Great food. Fun atmosphere. Had the Crab Benedict and it was fantastic. Plenty of homemade pies; the marionberry was a hit and a scoop of ice cream from Tillamook, with several flavors to choose from in the freezer.

This is a great restaurant! Came here in Father's day without a reservation was told it would be a wait to get a table and food but they then sat us within 5 minutes and we didn't have to wait long after ordering to get food. They really care about their customers and make sure you have whatever need. It really is housestyle cooking and you can see it and taste. I'll definitely be back!
