Fantastic locally owned coffee shop! Great coffee, baked goods, ambiance and staff. 10/10 would recommend.Parking: Street parking on a mostly residential neighborhood street. You might have to walk half a block, but we've never had trouble finding a spot within a reasonable distance. It's a very walking friendly neighborhood and a lot of the patrons arrive on foot.

A friendly coffee house in a historic building. Mostly neighborhood regulars. A wide selection of coffee and specialty hot and cold drinks with a nice menu of hot sandwiches. The spacious interior has a very laid back vibe with comfortable, worn-in sofas as well window seating. Perfect place to have a quiet moment, bring friends and family with kids, or work on your laptop. Great scones; and donuts from Orems on the weekend.

An absolute gem. The drip coffee was very tasty and well brewed, there's a large selection of teas, and the seating area is huge and comfortable. There's tables large and small, plus cozy chairs and couches spread out in the large space. It also really has a local feel, with friendly servers and long open hours--and they very generously kept it open Christmas Eve morning, too.

Such a cute place with amazing food and drinks. Their chai was warm and spicy and the donuts and bagels are sooooo fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back!

My daughter and I found Anchor & Anvil when we wanted an alternative to a certain big chain coffee house. This particular A&A is located in an attractive neighborhood. We loved the atmosphere and were very pleased with our drinks... a honey-cinnamon latte and a plain latte. The staff was friendly and made us feel at home. We wholeheartedly recommend Anchor & Anchor and look forward to our next visit.

I been going to this place before it became Anchor and Anvil. Always loved it. People are fantastic, atmosphere is just as good. I always get the bold coffee, and sometimes lattes. Always good and the baked goods are great.

What a cute coffee shop! Came in on a Sunday around 11am and ordered a dirty chai and two donuts to go. The girls behind the counter were super friendly and bagged my donuts and made the drink in a timely manner. They offer a decent variety of baked goods and other small business items at the front of the cafe by the ordering counter. There are a bunch of different seating options and there was plenty available when I stopped in. The bathroom definitely took me back to grade school, but was clean and had soap and paper towels. The dirty chai was delicious, but a tad sweet. The donuts that I got were a custard with chocolate icing and a "special turtle". The donuts are delicious. Would recommend and will be back.

We chose this place based on the overwhelmingly good reviews, however we were very disappointed. We were meeting up 2 other people who had already ordered their drinks before we arrived. The girls working were young. When I went to order, the one girl told me that their food isn’t really that good.. at the time I thought she really meant it and was trying to save us from having a bad experience. Anyways, we ordered our coffees (had to explain what French vanilla meant (-: ). When leaving, I talked to the other people in the group to say how strange it was to be told the food wasn’t good. They then told us that the girls were both rude to them, and they had REMINDED them about them closing at 2PM while pulling the donuts they ordered (it was 1:00pm). I’m very disappointed by the service and the coffee. Ugh. We are out of staters that visit often, but we would not be back or recommend this place to others.

This place is hands down my favorite spot for meeting clients, hanging with friends, and working remotely. It has such a unique and cozy atmosphere and the people who run it do a fantastic job and are very approachable and friendly. They often bring food or drinks right to you and they are always quick to help you with anything you need. And the coffee is great! Their chai latte tastes SO good. Highly recommend this spot.Dietary restrictions: They give you lots of options for no dairy which I love!

Big, open space in old fire house. Lovely independent coffee shop with prompt service, great baked goods and well-done coffee. Very welcoming environment with outdoor seating in Adirondack chairs in the summer.

Lattes have very little ice and don't taste like espresso either. Sadly will not be back

This is a comfy coffee house with excellent coffee and a chill atmosphere. The cafe is spacious with areas to fit whatever your coffee house mission may be. There are couches and big comfy chairs to lounge in with a book, window seats for a quick coffee break, a table and chair section for doing homework, even lawn chairs outside for those nice weather days.

I would recommend trying Anchor & Anvil out on a Saturday morning for their donut specials. Their drip coffee is always great and tastes fresh too!
