Unseasoned ground beef is not drained. Greasiest, most bland tacos ever. I couldn't eat them. Refried beans are bland and unseasoned, also. Salsa Verde is mild. The cooks must be from Russia or something. Disgusting is an understatement for this place.

I wanted to place an order of 25 tacos I though maybe some deal could have been done but instead they wanted to charge 11$ for 3 tacos as separate orders good food but not for the price thank you anyways la placita in Allentown same quality actually gave me a deal less then what I was offered

Wife & I went here today, everything looked and sounded so good... so I ended up ordering pretty much every taco type!!! Food was amazing, well matched to the customer service. The waitress was very attentive, the chef came out and greeted us as well and was very kind, as well as the sous chef I assume? Great Place with great food! Thank you guys for a delicious meal!!!! Horrible , food is mediocre at best. Illiterate people take the orders. Got my order totally wrong even tho I explained it many times. Was told they were #2 in the US or Lehigh Valley a few years back. Total frauds. Don’t waste time coming here. don’t believe these other uncultured people with no taste. I am from Atlanta, I eat at Mexican food trucks, I visit taquerias where they don’t speak English. I know authentic Mexican food.This is authentic Mexican food. These were the best tamales I have ever eaten. Tamales are usually a little dry, but Aqui’s masa was flavorful and moist. Hands down best tamal I’ve ever had. Get the rojo. Also get Mexican style tacos, the chorizo was banging and those corn tortillas are home made. 5 star this place is bringing a taste of mexico to the northeast.Also the crab taco deserves a Michelin star.

The owner is super nice. The order taker, not so much. She's rude and miserable and can't understand or speak English. They only accept cash which makes it difficult to order easy and quickly. The burritos are good. The steak too tough, overcooked and dry. The prices have doubled since COVID so it gets pricy for a tiny little taco. Their little can and bottles of soda are $5!! You can get 3 2 liters of soda for that price.Parking: No place to park.
Skip the chains and leave dull, ordinary, cookie-cutter Americanized fast food Mexican in your rear view mirror. Get yourself down to Aqui Es for the authentic real deal. Even though it's a drive for me to get here, I don't mind because the tacos really bring the flavor. You can't go wrong, and it'll leave you wanting more every time. Strongly recommended!!
