The Owner Michael Quinn should take a step back and put the bottle down when being in his own place of business. He says it is a kid friendly place, yet, a well behaved child on the dancefloor was outside of his liking during his night out drinking with the wife apparently. His delivery of telling me he doesn't want my child on the dancefloor, followed by lies was unacceptable. Its ashame because the staff there is Phenomenal. He would be better off allowing his manager Kate do the talking if he doesn't like something in his drunken pugnacious state.

Dinner platters cannot be ordered until 3 pm - but no one tells you that until you attempt to order, nor is it listed on the menu or website! We were forced to order medicre, expensive brunch - not what we were hoping for! Service is extremely slow & leisurely. Water pooling on bathroom floor. Tiny ants crawling on the table - probably for the spilled sugar that was there when we came! Never again! Building itself is beautiful.

Hotel stay 4.5 stars could use a place to plug in the phone that's not behind the bed or low on the wall on the other side of the room. Also there is no separate seating area. It's just a chair in the room by the bed. It's an old school hotel built in the 1880s. It's really a beautiful building and the decor reflects the time period. Bathroom has been redone nicely. There is a restaurant and a bar downstairs. I didn't have any noise problems from the bar. No automatic locks like chain hotels which I like. I lock it when I want and don't ever lock myself out. I stay in hotels a lot for work and I always try to find something different if possible and this was exactly what I was looking for. Very comfortable bed. No noise, slept very well. Could clean the railings on the upstairs deck also. Seems the birds like it there.

I was already Leary to pay the $20 for a chester county cheesesteak but i splurged. Imagine my surprise when it came out! I paid $20 for half a cheesesteak look at this picture?! No wonder the place was dead on a Friday happy hour jeez. I would like a response from someone here. Maybe they made a mistake. Did you forget the other half?!?! I got 12 french fries and half a cheesesteak for $20. Horrible value and for that, we are done here.
Would it kill you to Get some female bartenders?

10 of us came for NYE. Everyone thought the food was great. The service was great. We saw the CarryOn Band who are great!

This place sucks. I’m sorry but my boyfriend and I had the worst dining experience ever. I’m a server and a bartender so I know things can get busy but it wasn’t. The food was horrible. We got the mushroom bruschetta and you can tell it was under the heat lamp for at least 15 minutes (see picture). It was so dry and brittle it made my gums hurt. I also got the mushroom braised rib stroganoff and it wasn’t good at ALL. No type of flavor whatsoever. The only reason I ate the food was because it was date night for us and we haven’t gone out in a long time and I felt terrible that my boyfriend had to pay $140 for mediocre food and that’s being nice. We don’t mind spending money on QUALITY food and service. We didn’t complain because I could tell either A) nothing would be done or B) it would take even longer for a probably less than half better plate. We just wanted to leave and not deal with it. Our server didn’t even come to the table half the time until AFTER the manager (she was the saving grace of it all) took our order. The only good experience was the manager who had a great personality. Our server was obviously inexperienced and you could tell from the very beginning. He didn’t introduce himself, didn’t ask how we were this evening, etc, but was so happy when we asked for the bill like he was going to get a fat tip on a big bill which we didn’t leave because he didn’t serve us anything, everyone else in the restaurant that worked here seemed to serve us though. This was overall a very disappointing experience and I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I would rather go to the dirtiest dive bar down the street and get some actual decent food. I wouldn’t return here if I was offered a free meal and I was starving on the street. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Cool place, but not worth the money. This place is very expensive, I knew that going there. I found this place online, looking for a nice place to take my wife for her 40th birthday. After seeing pictures and the menu, we dressed up and went for diner. It’s just not that kind of establishment. I wouldn’t complain if it wasn’t for the prices. We spent 180 dollars and it might have been a step up from Applebees. With that being said, the staff was very friendly, besides the prices we really don’t have any complaints.

The prices are clearly marked on the menu HOWEVER, the quality and portion sizes are not Aligned with the prices. Appetizer of Brussel sprouts clearly under cooked. The outside very charred while the insides were undercooked. The flank steak which is a cheaper cut of beef was nothing special and extremely over priced. The weight should be listed on the nenu. Also, $15.00 for a drink that is mostly ice is ridiculous. Even our waiter commented it was a lot of ice! Servers were excellent. But we will never go back. Too bad it's close by.

We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner for our son and daughter-in-law and everyone was very impressed with the service and food. Our party had use of a private room upstairs in the Inn and it was charming and cozy for our event. Wait staff was attentive, friendly and prompt with service. We had three options for dinner and we did not hear one negative comment! Short ribs were tender, salmon was delicious and chicken was moist and flavorful. Dessert was great, too! So glad we found this little gem not far from our wedding venue! Thanks for a memorable evening.
