We must have had an off day. Our hot and honey chicken was missing the hot and honey sauce, our breakfast blt was missing the fried eggs, and our sweet tea chicken was missing the pimiento cheese. We noticed the pimiento first and the waitress said she just realized they were out. The eggs they cooked on the side but by then the sandwich was cold. Maybe just an off day but I was surprised considering how messed up each dish was no one came over and addressed it or even offered us a free coffee or something.

I visited the area for a wedding the weekend of October 25 and came across this restaurant while searching for nearby dining options. I am very pleased that I did. My server, a young tall dark haired man, was excellent—extremely attentive, and I didn’t have to signal for refills or my check. He was extremely friendly, too! The food was outstanding; I enjoyed the chips with crab dip, which was excellent! The shrimp alfredo along with a nice little salad was also very flavorful and complemented my meal perfectly. I would highly recommend this PAW and PLATE for a quality dining experience. Additionally, on the Friday night of my visit, there was a live band, and the atmosphere was fantastic. It is clear that both owners have invested considerable time and resources to ensure a memorable experience. The bar area is beautiful, and I highly recommend Paw and Plate for a delicious meal in a welcoming environment.

We were pleasantly surprised by the menu and atmosphere during our visit. They offer quick and easy access off of 54, and we got a table right away during dinner. There seemed to be plenty of space for large parties and a long bar with plenty of seating. We appreciated the dog-friendly environment, and we look forward to our next visit.

I wanted so badly to try this place, and while my hopes were high I did leave a little disappointed. My partner had to keep getting up to ask for drinks, and my breakfast sandwich had an egg undercooked with runny whites. So I ordered a new egg, I usually don’t mind just keeping it simple to which my new egg again had runny whites. Don’t get me wrong I love a runny yolk, but not the white. My partners berry compote French toast was amazing! All in all, if you don’t mind waiting a while to get your drinks(and refills) and at least 35-45 mins for your food, it’s good. It felt understaffed, working in food business before, it seemed the waitresses were overwhelmed for sure.

Was able to take the fur kids out to dinner with us. We all loved it. Dogs had their own menu to order from. Was very happy with the quality & serving size. Dogs dug in so fast I didn't even get a pic first. My wife and I loved our food. 💯 great experience.

Wonderful place to take your family and friends. The food is creative, delicious and fresh! You can enjoy beautiful indoor or outdoor seating. You can even bring your dog in designated areas. 10/10 recommend. Also a great place for events!

I wanted so bad to love it here! The first time we visited was during the first week open, so we chalked the bad experience up to having some kinks to work out. We visited a second time last week and it may have actually been worse. Both times the food was underwhelming at best (cocktails too). I had the chicken with crab on to the first time and shrimp tacos the second. Picture of the tacos attached… literally zero seasoning in the shrimp and they looked boiled. The mango “salsa” was more like chunks of mango and the shell tasted just like ones from a taco kit 🙁 while the servers were pleasant both times, it took over 45 minutes to get our food after ordering each visit. I will say they have a beautiful venue! Hopefully the food improves because there is so much potential here!

We stopped in for lunch during a visit to Danville and really enjoyed it. We shared a classic burger and a French onion and Gruyère toasted cheese sandwich (both served with hand cut fries), as well as the seafood bisque. Great service, very friendly. I just wish we had our doggy with us this trip!

What a neat place! We met a dog foster mom here to pick up a pup. The staff were amazing! The food was good! So awesome that we have somewhere to bring our behaved dogs to dine with us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Like some others have said, I really wanted to love this place. Staff is friendly, drinks were fairly good, but wait time and especially the food itself has been really disappointing across 2 visits. I had the lobster roll, and it was sparse chunks of lobster, that I suspect may have been from a can, lettuce, and roll. My wife had shrimp tacos. Menu said grilled shrimp. What she got was the most bland, unseasoned, looked like boiled shrimp, with very little sauce. Mango salsa had chunks of under-ripe mango, and it was all served in hard taco shells that looked like store bought.
