Very nice place lots of coffee choices and pastries, pies, cookies. Went there when Borough Bagel was packed, long lines. This place was a quietee respite with ample seating.

Bought our son's birthday cake there yesterday. The cake itself was incredible. And they have never failed me on that aspect. I ordered a half sheet cake, which was around $50-$55. The icing was Eagles themed. When I went to pick it up they charged me $80+. I asked why the $25+ charge. Apparently, it was for the icing on the cake and the design. Totally fine if someone told me beforehand. Was a big shock when I now had no other choice on the day of my son's birthday party.

This place has the best cupcakes and cakes. The strawberry shortcakes are amazing! A pro tip is that the cakes are better when pre-ordered and not bought out of the case. But definitely a great place to pick up last minute pastries on your way to a party.

During our annual visit last year, we thoroughly enjoyed their strawberry shortcake so this year after eating and liking their cupcake with peanut butter mousse and chocolate, we decided to get their peanut butter mousse pie because we love peanut butter. When we received it, it looked great but tasted terrible. So much so that both my mom and I threw out our halves, which we have never done for a peanut butter bakery item. The picture of the slice says it all. First, they just add some peanut butter mousse to their stabilized whipped cream and then fail to fully blend them together. This made the filling heavy and lacking in peanut butter flavor. Second, the graham cracker crust lacked flavor and had the texture of a factory produced one and lastly, the stabilized whipped cream decorations on top should have been flavored with peanut butter. I have not tried any of their other pies to comment on them but do not get their peanut butter one. The next week, we reordered their 8-inch strawberry shortcake that we enjoyed so much the previous year. It was still good, but it would have been much better if between the cake layers, they would have used only strawberries as the filling rather than stabilized whipped cream with an occasional strawberry.

Pastries and donuts were delicious. The cupcakes were very stale. Both the frosting and cake part were dried out. Maybe it was because they were put in a cake box vs a cupcake container. Either way they were stale within hours even placed in my refrigerator. I’ve never had this happen to cupcakes even days later in the refrigerator.
