The guy working the counter was a totally rude jerk when I was inquiring about my order that was taking an exceptionally long time. Unnecessary. If you are going to make people wait that long for 2 subs, at least teach your employees some customer service skills.

Amazing selection of beer, food, and gift shop items! The worst thing about this brewery is that they don’t ship to Seattle ? Will definitely be returning in the future!

Fast and helpful bartenders. Delicious pizza, hoagies, and fries. A wide selection of beers on top, I think there was 20+ beers on top this past weekend.

Very popular amongst Behrend students (especially on Wednesdays, for college discount). Relaxed atmosphere where great conversations can be had or school work can be done over a drink and food. Beers are delicious, free samples, and half price growler fills on Mondays. Will surely miss this place when I graduate.

Good atmosphere and very good beers. Food from adjoining pizza place decent, but a bit overpriced. Very attentive staff and pricing on beer on par with other breweries. Ok for kids during proper times.

Very good beer, (tried a few) food was delicious and good presentation.

Love it! Great brews, great variety (including a porter and stout on tap when I went, which I appreciate), and an order window for the pizza joint next door! 10/10, would recommend

I travel between upstate NY and Cleveland all the time and stop here on my way to and from. I love the hazy ipa and the wings are excellent.

I was first introduced to Erie brewing in 2001 when I turned 21 and had my first Railbender. When I was home for a visit about seven years ago, I picked up a mixer pack and was fairly happy with the selection. However, I must say that the actual Erie brewing Company brewery is simply amazing. There is such a wide variety of beers as compared to what is sold in the beer stores. Being a fan of hoppy beers, EBC does not disappoint. Along the same lines, I have taken friends who do not enjoy beer that much, but they are pleasantly surprised with their sours. The new space and ambience is awesome. There are plenty of tables and barstools and even a large fireplace in the center encompassed by couches. If you're interested in food, they partner with the restaurant next-door and you can order at the window and pick up later. The menu is fairly simple with hoagies, pizza, wings and a pound of french fries. Given the perfect location on the east side, this might be a new favorite place to meet friends when I'm back in town.

Terrible. Literally waited over an hour (still waiting as of now) for a simple pizza. Something needs to change.

Really wanted to like everything but, we waited over an hour for food, finally we needed to leave for a speaker at Berhend. Had to cancel order, we did get a refund. Need more help or better management in the kitchen.

Skippers stout on nitro is heavenly

I was here this evening for a wedding rehearsal this evening. The party was upstairs and there was plenty of room for approx 30 people. We had the brisket, Mac and cheese, green beans, salsa and chips and cupcakes. Everything was very good including the IPA beers. I would defiantly recommend. The only thing I would have changed was air flow or circulation upstairs, very warm with everyone in the room.

Had a truly outstanding visit today. The beer was awesome , especially the Railbender and Utterly Delicious Stout. The pizza I had was fantastic and I shared my fries with my two Dalmatians. The fall weather was perfect for sitting outside. Oscar, my server, went over and above. A must stop next time I am in Erie.

Lots of beer selection and they partner with the pizza joint next door! Order the bacon chicken ranch pizza extra crispy! Our bartender was attentive, nice, and knowledgeable! There is parking.

A must visit - incredibly friendly staff, great beer, and great food. It’s a mistake if you choose not to stop in .

Great place to stop if you are in Presque Island area. Food was tasty and off course the variety of brews is amazing. Cherry bomb was my favorite one. You can see the brewery and buy some 4 packs to enjoy later.

Railbender Ale is excellent. All others are quite good.

Since it's right next to Behrend, we visit here on a weekly basis. The drinks and the beers are always high quality. The food, however, sometimes may take up to 45 minutes to get the starters and sometimes may have to wait for an hour. But if it's after work or school, it's a good place to hangout and chill.

We love this place! Great food, awesome staff!

Lively brewery which is a joint partnership between Erie Brewing Company and John Wildwood's Pizza. Service has been a little slow every time I've visited and the ordering process is a little strange because the two businesses are under one roof. Otherwise nice atmosphere though and friendly staff.

On a long road-trip, I saw signs for the brewery and decided to pop in for a bite to eat. Although it didn't look like the most appetising sandwich, the turkey hoagie was amazing. Juicy, sizeable, and very tasty. My wife's pizza wasn't bad either. I had a I-90 beer, a light, blonde ale brewed on site - very nice. A shame we couldn't have stayed to try a few more! I would certainly recommend a stop here over the ubiquitous chain restaurants along the route.

Loved this brewery! Was on a trip coming through town and decided to stop. Place was nicely designed, clean and the beer was delicious (Try the hazy IPA). I’ll be back on my next trip!

This place has a great environment and it's awesome that I can get my Johns fix seeing the recent fire in Edinboro. Being new to their beers, I have come to love 3 thus far. However, my last two experiences here have not been so good with the wait staff. Our waitress was not the friendliest both times, nor did she seem to want to listen to what we said. She started to walk away when we had a question to ask. It took about 15-20 minutes to come check back to us when I was in need of a refill. Speaking for the environment and the beer... out of this world!

Such a great atmosphere, drinks and yummy food. For being a first timer Matt explained everything there was to know & more! Will definitely be back!

Saw the sign on the highway so I thought we'd stop. Easy access off of the highway next to a gas station makes this brewery is a must stop. Refreshing beers on tap and they have something for just about everyone. Growlers, 4 packs and 6 packs to go. They also have a pizza place connected to it that smelled great, but all in all - we'd come back and recommend.

we made plans to stop here as our purpose for the trip was to tour breweries and wineries of the area. We had flights and were impressed by their products. Would recommend this venue. Staff our helpful to new customers.

The service and location were fantastic, but I wasn't impressed by the beers. For casual drinkers I think this would be a great place to visit. I didn't eat there, but the pizza smelled good, too.

Great staff, decent beers

My lady companion and I stopped in on a Saturday eve. The industrial facade is in stark contrast to the interior decor. This bldg. houses both John's Wildwood Pizzeria II and Erie Brewing Co. Now to order you must go to each establishment, order and pay there. Everything regarding ordering and utensils are self serve, the flatware, utensils and etc. The only thing the server do is provide drinks, you have a lighted buzzer telling you your order is ready to pick up. Our server was MIA most often. Nothing to rave about, although many patrons came and went. It was also pricey for whaat you received, in short not a repeat, pass this one up!!

Food was very good at a reasonable price, nice selection of craft beers. I Will definitely be back.

If you want to make a quick stop for a sample of brew crafted to perfection, as I did, this is a great place. I am told the food is good as well and the place itself is very nice and has a great gift shop. Obviously your selection - there is ample opportunity to try many - depends on your taste but I thought the coffee-infused stout was simply fantastic.
