This place has no storefront anymore. It is a vending machine. They need to delete all the pictures showing a storefront and display cases. The vending machine offers you the pleasure of paying an insane price for stale, previously frozen cupcakes. You can't even choose what flavors you get, nor does it give you a possible list. The machine spits out random, prepackaged cupcakes. An absolute waste of time and money.

I try to support local ... but I really just did not like the cake or cupcakes. Possibly a first in my life where I didn't want to eat cake. Very sad about it.

I moved out of Erie three years ago and have not had the chance to visit the Sweet Vault until this week when I was home for Christmas. This has got to be one of the sweetest inventions (pun intended) ever! Icing on the Lake’s creations always live up to my confectionery expectations and the selection did not disappoint! The machine is easy to use if you follow the instructions. I am so happy the bakery is still a part of Erie. Thank you for the treats! We will surely stop by during our next visit!

This is a cool little vending machine. There is no bakery. It is next to a restaurant called LUCERO. Kind of confusing. Also when you click on an item you don't know whether or not it is vegan or gluten-free. But the items look yummy!

I’m surprised to see negative reviews that were left recently regarding the ‘vault’ vending machine. I’d like to share my experience this past weekend. Me and my family took a trip up to Lake Erie from Pittsburgh for the weekend for my sisters birthday. It was a stressful trip as we couldn’t get into our Airbnb due to an entry code issue, then we lost our replacement key for the place we were staying!! My mom discovered the Icing On The Lake Vault on google, and I drove my sister over and we had SO much fun using this machine, we actually went back 3 times over the course of 36 hours! Lol. I even brought some cupcakes back home, everything we tried was delicious, and we had zero issues paying with our card at the machine. Your vending machine and delicious baked goods help put a smileOn my sisters face during a stressful birthday, and for that we thank you! Next time we are in Erie, we will certainly be stopping by the ‘Vault’ again :)

Cheesecake slices are dipped in chocolate and on a stick. It's to much. The chocolate over sweetens the great cheesecake and cheesecake is to heavy to be on a stick. My daughter and I didn't like the cupcakes at all. We tried all the flavors. We rank them 2 out of 10. We were really disappointed because the shop is really cute. We had high hopes. Definitely an expensive place

I visited the Sweet Vault to purchase Cookies and they were very expensive and tasted old. It's not the same experience ? from the Bakery fresh taste. Don't waste your time or money. Wait until they reopen.
The sweet vault has delicious treats and is easy to use. 13/10

It is July 16 2023, We just took out our wedding cake top from the freezer for our 1 year anniversary. We were very surprised and happy that it tasted as good as the day we got it. We put the last half of it back into the freezer for next year.

Main location is closed, but the "vending machine" is outstanding. Just wish they had more selection and more stock... oftentimes the machine runs out....
