Dropped in yesterday after the Warner craft show, not expecting anything special. Nicely surprised. Ordered lasagne soup and 1/2 chicken salad sandwich. Lasagne soup was outstanding but the sandwich blew my socks off. I am not a lover of chicken salad sandwiches because they are always way too dry but this sandwich was lovely, toasted on whole grain bread with a hint of dill added to a little tomato and a touch of lettuce - wow. Today we returned for a full sandwich and not disappointed....
We come here several times of year on our way toward New York. It's an unassuming restaurant with a great menu. I'll admit I've solely had breakfast, and it's one of the better breakfasts in our queue. I love the Huevos Rancheros among other things, and my fiancé loves the Country Bowl.
My girlfriend and I went here for brunch on Sunday. It was really good. I ordered the Santa fe bowl. It was pretty good. A lot more meat than I expected which was a negative for me but whatever. My girlfriend ordered the summer house bowl and she really liked it.
